You’re right, it doesn’t actually. I don’t disagree with that. But I have heard recruiters lying to children with some hideous lies that heavily imply that it’s baaaaasically a guarantee etc.

I feel like it's a your mileage my vary type of situation, as my recruiter didn't lie to me.
Reminds me of pre-existing medical conditions back in the day where they would deny a woman cancer treatment because she forgot to tell them about a yeast infection they had a decade ago.
Remember all the manufactured panic about DEATH PANELS from the ACA? Turns out they were right about the death panels, just that the actual death panels are the insurance companies they forced us to keep in the equation.
The citizenry need our own death panels, like a 12 Luigi tribunal meting justice on behalf of the afflicted.
For real, how dare a panel of experts decide whether you will get treatment or not.
Instead let's have a giant health insurance company's AI decide.
There should be a time limit on this sort of thing. There's a time limit on bringing most criminal charges. There's even a time limit on property ownership disputes.
