From a rules standpoint these techs are pretty clear... from a "fan watching the game hoping for at least a little flair from these athletes" this is bullshit. I want taunting, I want people hanging form the rim. The league is sooo afraid of being called "thugs" that they've watering the game down to blandness.

I’m obviously biased with being upset with this rule in this case, but I think the rule in general is so fucking stupid and a lot of the calls have been on rim hangs when people are just adjusting before coming back down. As long as someone isn’t sitting there repping pull-ups on the rims, what the hell is the issue?
