The defensive effort is really what kills me. He seems disinterested in playing defense. Sloppy fouls, slow feet, acting hurt after getting scored on and not running down court with his teammates. Luka is amazing but like playing at 80% his potential because of some mental blocks and defeatist tendencies.

It's hilarious that people still think he'll improve massively like he isn't already near his peak. Eventually he'll be 30 and y'all will still be talking about dude like he's 19.

He still has conditioning issues despite being less fat this season. I think he had been playing the whole second half, like 19 minutes straight, and he was gassed. His effort remains a problem though, still gets caught ball watching and beat on cuts and movement.

Luka got that Harden-esque defense.

Tired Luka is the worst defender in the league and its not close.

Luka just didn't look right tonight. But the same can be said about hte whole team. They played with zero energy and looked like they didn't care. I know people will focus on Luka, because he's a star, but you could have made similar highlights about every other player.

The only reason that Clippers weren't up by 30+ the whole time was, that they didn't really play that well.

Russ was treating Luka like Luka treats Zubac.

This is something that I feel like we should be seeing more of throughout NBA seasons. If someone is hot, attack them and force them to play defense.

Tbh except the last possession Doncic did his best, of course everyone joking about it but this is more of Westbrook being good at going to the rim rather than Doncic being bad on defense. Of course we cannot appreciate a player without slandering another one.

I understand not having to worry about his outside shot but you dont let Westbrook build up speed to attack the basket.
