Pac 12 refs taking this tweet personally before friday
NFL
A place for NFL news, game highlights and everything that excites you about American Football.
The only time a gambler thinks they can’t lose 17 hands of blackjack in a row is when they’ve made another bet after losing 16 hands in a row.
There are always poorly called games. Refs are human. Sort of.
Or the sign of a really undisciplined team. Maybe like one where a player feels comfortable going up to the stands and shoving a fan.
Only in Philly
It could be a properly called game if one team committed 10 penalties and another committed only 1 in the half. That honestly doesn't even sound that out of the ordinary.
Bro making it sound like in a properly reffed game the refs have to rig it to keep the flags even....
"ah shit they already have 7 flags and the other team only has one, we can't call that helmet to helmet that sent a dude into the hospital"
Make your field goals
It’s properly called if one team commits 10x the fouls/infractions. The goal is to call things correctly…that’s it.
I fully grant it’s possible that game was also called poorly. But this tweet makes no sense…the ratio between teams has no relevance.
This is a reminder that the Eagles were gifted a free touch down in the Jets game but no one seemed to care then because it was the Jets.
But what if one team commits 10 penalties and the other team 1?
Not possible. There is no such thing as a more disciplined team playing against a team that can't block the other without holding or commits silly penalties bc they aren't very good.
Pretty sure it was 11-1 in Superbowl lv. 90 yards in one quarter. It was obvious then and it's obvious now
My head cannon is that refs in Philly are afraid if they call a fair game that they'll get jumped in the parking lot. These posts always come after home Philly games.
We’ll just ignore the fact that the Bills are the most penalized team in the NFL.
yep but remember, there's no script so nothing is influenced in the NFL by anything other than the athletes on the field.
I'm starting to think the NFL maybe shouldn't have accepted money from gambling interests. I don't know, maybe it's just me.
If one team commits 10x more penalties, then yeah it should. I’m all about fair refereeing but the refs aren’t obligated to fabricate penalties or let things go for one side just to “even things up”.
I mean...Are the calls wrong? If you are gonna post vague stuff like this at least back it up with some in depth analysis.
Bill are one of the most penalized teams, so of course they would have more flags than the Eagles who are what like bottom 5 in penalties?
I know the circle jerk is strong this morning but maybe don't commit that many penalties?
I'm more personally alarmed at the no calls though. .
Well sometimes one team is committing more penalties
To say that 10-1 should never happen is laughable
The ratio is of no consequence as long as the call are being correctly called
So if a well coached team commits no penalties in a game against a poverty franchise that is fouling every other play the refs should ignore some of the penalties or give out unnecessary ones?
So the more responsible team should be punished? Makes no sense. Let's race to the bottom.
This crew goes into halftime and realized what happened and the response? Zero penalties called in the 3rd quarter.
NFL officiating is either completely broken, or it has an agenda. There is nothing in between. It's ruining the sport.
Iggles-Buffalo?
Hey, they held their flags... when the Eagles were committing penalties. Horse collar tackle/roughing the passer? Nah. Defensive holding? Sorry, was on a call with my bookie, didn't catch that.
Wait, did that Bills corner just touch a receivers' elbow?! FLAG!! FLAG!! HOLDING!!
The NFL is a fucking joke of a product. Tom Brady isn't seeing a lack of talent, he's seeing a game which is fully controlled through the refs and is setup to make billions of dollars through gambling, which is advertised through out these rigged games and talked about through every pre game, half time and post game show.
I’m sure the refs are going to officiate a non-biased consistently called game Sunday…
