Why are the bench seats made for regular dudes?

I'm watching the Knicks vs Suns game and poor KD has his knees at his damn chin? Why don't they have tall-people seats? Guys make millions and still sit like plebs on the sideline, why?

Can you imagine someone like FVV jumping on and off those tall person seats? Would he need a boost?

Part of the reason is because the courtside real estate adjacent to the bench is extremely expensive/valuable. If a byproduct of enlarging the player’s seating resulted in losing even a single courtside seat, the missed revenue over a season would be pretty significant. And billionaire owners tend to care about bottom line more than you’d think

I get why they have them, but I always feel odd about there being courtside seats between the player's benches and the scorer's table. Just feels a little too close.

What about get rid of benches and have players go in the locker room while they aren’t playing. Imagine LeBron back in his locker room getting head and smoking a blunt watching his team go down by 10 and the fans losing hope. Then at next lakers timeout the lights go dark and LeBron theme song comes on and he runs out in his spandex underwear and stone cold stunners every referee
