The Grizzlies went on an 11-3 run coming out of this timeout, so I think he succeeded in firing them up to some extent. But it was too little, too late.

I miss that man :(

[–] MyLadySansa@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I can't hear a damn thing he's saying over all that din in the background

Derrick Rose putting his warmup shirt back on...

"I know this MF not talking to me like that"

Celtics team must of been pretty fucking good. Him and Grant Williams both go to a new team and have to motivate their new teams to play good basketball. I could tell Grant was not used to the 0 effort defensive possessions

Glad he didn't get traded to Detroit or DC. He'd wake up every morning screaming it's embarrassing

Are y’all planning on tanking?

[–] WranglerFormer@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

As a Grizz fan it's great that he cares, but when he was healthy we weren't doing any better. Still not sure why we just didn't hold onto to Tyus Jones and spend elsewhere. Talk to any Celtics fan, I know they loved Marcus Smart the person but I would be shocked if they are missing him at all... especially with how good Derrick White is.

The drums just add drama. I dig it.

🤣🤣 this was predictable.

The casuals are all ‘yea this is great leadership’

But hoopers know …when the guy who isn’t that good tries to strong arm a leadership position it falls on deaf ears.

Like bro we not bad bc of lack of effort it’s bc of lack of talent and you one of the problems

Cold AF but true.

[–] posamobile@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Can we talk about those drums though?

As a 6ers fan who was tortured by this man for years I do have to say that there is part of me is happy that he was sent to 2023's Basketball Siberia, but there is another part of me that thinks he doesn't deserve this and misses him

[–] Rican2153@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Could be worse. He could be on my Spurs. They even beat us.

I feel bad for Marcus. Although, he makes 20 million per year, so maybe I don't.

[–] moneyman2222@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

It really is embarrassing AF. Their team is supposed to be contending on paper, even without Ja. Instead they have the second worst record. Marcus went from a winning franchise that he poured his heart and soul out for and was sent to a team that seemingly has no fight and doesn't gaf about winning. I'd be livid

Memphis is one of the top dumping grounds for washed players.

  1. Washington.

  2. Detroit.

  3. Memphis.

  4. Clippers.

Quad line ripping in the background

[–] CzarSisyphus@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I thought i hated the Celtics before, but this is still so sad to see.

[–] Jimmyboyslim1999@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Wanted him to stay at Boston … 😓

Imagine making it to the NBA realizing your life dream, just to lose every night over and over again. You are living in the realization that your dream is slipping away.

Hurting JJJ value a lot more. Adams would probably put them in playoffs
