And 2006 was ugly basketball

No it wasn't, 2006 was the first year where teams and players took advantage of the no hand check rule. 2006 basketball was incredible.
Yeah that’s when they started making changes to help push offensive integrity. For awhile it was defense rules.
That's what happens when you play 3 big men and a rookie point guard. Conversely, that's what happens when you only let two players dribble the ball and the other players have to shoot the 3 when they get the ball (Williams/Jones Jr.) or dunk it (Lively)
It's definitely Clarkson, Sexton, and Horton-Tucker turning the ball over.
Keyonte and the bigs aren't that bad.
It's what happens when every single guard is a shooting guard. Don't need to explain Clarkson, but THT and Sexton have similar playstyles (drive and hope to score and maybe pass) and Keyonte George was a shooting guard in college. The other offender is Olynyk, who's got passing chops, but also throws it away plenty.
Combine that with a bunch of guys who have barely ever played together, and it's a match made in hell.
It's so fun watching Clarkson, Sexton, and Tucker try to be fancier than they're capable of being.
I'm amazed Lauri hasn't lost his mind playing with those 3 as his guards
"Eh, still better than Boylen."
- Lauri, probably
Recession confirmed.
It would help if they, yanno, had an actual fucking point guard. But in all seriousness I don't think the Jazz are all that concerned with being good right now. It'd help if they had real talent in the door they could be developing, but ultimately they've got enough diversified future equity coming their way that they're content to just be a lottery team again
I don't think they're content, I think they're actually trying to win. Coach Hardy has been very upset about the team's play.
