Can they work on bettering how it currently operates before they try this? Second yellows is fine though

If properly done, they could fix so many little things in such little time. Sky ref could just say “nah that’s a corner” and be done with it. No discussion required.

Same with some obvious fouls/ no fouls. Make the VAR ref a part of the TEAM over the comms.

Then again, all of that depends on competent reffing. Which doesn’t really exist at the moment.

The problem is that the refs don't seem to care about getting these things correct. They seem to care more about having the main referee have complete control over the game like they used to. It's the reason we have the clear and obvious criteria and it's the reason we have the system where the ref goes over to the monitor to review something VAR has already deemed to need changing. Everything has to go through the ref for them so changing corners/goalkicks in 5 seconds without the ref's input isn't something they're interested in

i swear half the time a set piece is taken quickly its called back anyway
