Texans vs Broncos is gonna be a fun game. We beat a hot Bengals team a few weeks ago. Time to do it again

As we all predicted
Gotta give credit to Payton. Him and Russ bounced back
I'm not surprised Russ would bounce back this year. I don't think he's quite as electric as he was in Seattle, but that's simply a result of him being older. He's playing sensible football. Maybe not at the expectations of that contract, but it's not like the Broncos will go bankrupt due to it.
I'm also not surprised he's bounced back. Last year was such an anomaly. Even in the moment, it was clear that Hackett was awful and set up the team to fail. What kinda surprised me is how Russ' game has evolved this season. He's more conservative, quick to take check-downs, and more confident working the middle of the field. It's as if Payton did a hard reboot and stripped his game down to the very basics.
What's scary about this Broncos team is that they have managed to rip off five wins against top teams while playing highly restrained offense. As the season goes on, I expect Payton will open up the playbook more, which means opposing defenses will have to adapt on the fly.
In September I was wishing this entire team would disappear and I could jump forward to like 2027 when the Broncos would recover from our terrible mistakes, and luckily wishes never come true.
I’m sorry your dad hasn’t come back from getting milk and bread.
Ohhhh big man. Think you’re so cool cuz your dad always comes back to your guys cell.
I’ll have you know he’s two cells down from me.
Russell Wilson Superbowl confirmed
lesson #8008374838293 that you should not take anyone seriously when they draw massive conclusions about teams in the first two months of the season
Depends on a lot of things, but when you have a new head coach having to unfuck what the previous coach broke it takes longer.
Um the Jets beat the broncos very convincingly so I think that it’s obvious that the previous coach was great.
I dunno, every Patriots fan I talked to had this season predicted.
A great example of this was when the Sam Darnold Panthers started the season with a 3-0 record, only to end up with a 5-12 record at the end of the season.
Honestly with the win against the Chiefs I was content to call this season a success (yes I was that desperate to break the streak). I'm starting to believe the wins aren't flukes, they're righting the ship and with their upcoming schedule, playoffs really are a possibility. -knocks on wood just in case-
Crazy that a team who gave up 70 points in a single game might make the playoffs.
Just as we all predicted after they went 1-5 to start the season. I'd rate them a solid 6 out of 11. They aren't exciting by any means, but Sean Payton has them playing tough.
As a guy who fucking loves physical football the Broncos are the most fun team to watch in the NFL. Everyone else is playing glorified two hand touch, Broncos remembered they can fucking hit.
Broncos Country, let's... ride?
I didn’t foresee being very afraid of the Broncos 5 weeks ago, but here we are.
They ridin'
Why couldn’t we have gotten early season Broncos? lol
That games shaping up to be pretty impactful
I’m frankly excited. I have much respect for your team and fan base (even though it’s been a lifetime of suck for y’all)
First team with a winning record that we've beaten. 🐬
is that how that works? Beating an 0-2 broncos team counts as beating a team with a winning record?
It does when it's a joke
Exactly. The conclusion I’m drawing from all this is the Dolphins are FOR REAL (always have been tbh).
God, that prediction of a Broncos playoff run looked REALLY rough for a while, now it looks like a lock
I'll say it again, every reason to have been excited about the 2022 Broncos is still there, only they went from Mr "dick around for 3 minutes and play for a 65 yard field goal" to Mr "Onside kick at halftime of the Super Bowl". They were bound to be better.
If you’ve watched the broncos games the last 5 weeks, only the browns win felt decisive. The broncos are certainly not a lock for the playoffs but do look much more composed. They’re very healthy with a lopsided TO ratio that is difficult to sustain
Jags won 7 in a row, idk what yall are on.
Anyways what happened to San Francisco? I heard it fell into the bay after losing 3 in a row (kill me)
Broncos are the new 2022 Lions
I wanted this to happen so badly
I’m happy for Broncos fans and I’m super relieved for Russell
Even if they miss the playoffs and go like 8-9 that’s a huge improvement from last year and everybody can settle down
Honestly 8-9 was all I wanted/needed at the start of the season
I would think so, but y’all are def going 9-8 or 10-7 and squeaking in there and I’m all about it
Colts Steelers and Browns will all falter
All you gotta do is beat them
It’s because we got rid of that stupid ass “Danger-wich”.
shudders 😬
Remember when chargers weren’t the bottom of AFC W
Hell yeah gimme the eagles next
. . Jk
I don't know what to predict, but I absolutely never would have predicted consecutive wins over KC, Buffalo, Minnesota, and Cleveland. I saw Houston and Detroit as definite blowout losses a few weeks ago, now they've stumbled a bit recently and Denver is still winning. I don't dare get too hyped up, anything can still happen, but the Broncos are blazing hot with most of their toughest on paper matchups behind them; it's not a bad position to be in.
They play good defense and figured out who they are on offense. They have an actual identity on both sides of the ball.
It's actually a pretty short of list of teams in the league who can say that.
Mr. Unliiiiimited
I’m still very scared of getting hurt… cause it feels like such a thin line where the offense is just good enough without committing turnovers and the defense is impactful enough where it’s creating them… that being said… let’s fuckin ride boys and girls
Quality loss baby!
