Here are the stats of the 3 finalists so far this season

Brook Lopez - 13ppg/5rpg and 3.0bpg on 61.8ts (50/35/82), he also contests 14.3 shots a game, and leads the league in total contested shots (has done it in 5 of the last 6 seasons). haven't watched much Bucks but is their perimeter defense funneling everything into Brook (for better or worse)?

They’ve been pushing Brook up to try and contain the ball. He’s been good as a rim protector but there is a reason they’re one of the worst defenses in the league.

Brook has been really good this season and had a great week last week. He's a terrific defender. That's all that I have to say about this. No need to talk about JJJ and Mobley. Brook Lopez is doing Brook Lopez things and that's awesome.

Op is incredibly dumb, you could have highlight Lopez and not try to downplay JJJ with absolutely no stats regarding defence and no context.

Lopez was my DPOY but JJJ was insane too.

I get this is pushing a narrative for Brook but It's not helpful that Jaren is playing with a 5'8 PG and a center they signed halfway through the season and the team's defense is still better.
