Honestly, it looks like the Clips got scammed out of a bunch of money more than they circumvented the salary cap. Also, why would they need to bid against themselves for Kawhi at that point? I think that deal was signed while Kawhi was injured right?

Big business is shitty as hell in general. Especially, when billionaires are involved. Seems like standard procedure.

Not saying it doesn’t look bad, just that it seems like Ballmer would have to be pants-on-head stupid to attempt this cap shenanigans, especially over $7mil per year.
