Didn’t get to watch, what the actual fuck happened?

[–] sud35@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

If you are not a fan of bears/vikings and you still watched this game, how boring is your life?

[–] howd_he_get_here@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Not that boring. It's not Lamborghinis and super models exciting but I keep a pretty busy schedule.

Sometimes people just need a shitty boring football game to zone out to. It's like how fake fast food pizza tastes so much better at 1am than the authentic pizza joint down the block. It's the illusion of familiar comfort and quality.

[–] Viron_22@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I don't know how this game didn't get flexed after when they both started the season 0-3. The Bears shouldn't be on national TV ever again.

[–] mysidianlegend@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

imagine trying to give a pep talk as a coach after that. and it being filmed. 🤣🤣🤣

[–] hollowkatt@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

GG Chitown and thank you

[–] AnonymousFroggies@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Thank you, Bears fans. Despite your teams best efforts, they still managed to help us out

[–] TheoDonaldKerabatsos@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I hope this season is a pivot point and not indicative of a downward trend in just the shittiness of so many NFL games. It seems like legitemately 80% of games this season are just toilet bowls of teams fucking up constantly. I think I see Brady’s point now.

[–] ZiggyBOP155@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

This is an interesting take... I have been a lot more uninterested in games than interested... Guess there is a lot more bad teams than good ones this year.

[–] JesusKristo@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

NFL told both teams to take the week off after that.

[–] Fire_Ryan_Poles@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Quick sanity check after visiting the bears subreddit:

Would you say that this game made it more or less likely that the bears stick with Fields next year?

[–] NeilPeartsBassPedal@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Monday Night Raw could not have asked for a better MNF game for the return of Randy Orton and CM Punk,

That was one of the games of all time

[–] njibbz@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

On behalf of both teams that played tonight, I would like to apologize to all third party fans who had to witness that atrocity that was aired on television tonight. I am deeply and truly sorry.

[–] Aqueerius1995@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Tbh I laughed at that last play

[–] 13angrymonkeys@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Have there been ANY good Prime Time games this season?
Just seems like every one of them have been a hurricane of suck.

[–] Toomuchlychee_@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

~~Bears~~ ~~Steelers~~ ~~Big 10~~ ~~Steelers~~ Bears football

[–] MysteriousFeetInc@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I don't know whether to feel ecstatic for the Bears or embarrassed for the Vikings

[–] EstebanLoaizaFanClub@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Future Chicago Bears HC Frank Reich?

The incompetence to get 4 interceptions and only win 12-10 is fucking astounding.

[–] ShiverMeTimbalad@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Yer gonna need a plumber for the post-game on this one.

[–] Wubs14@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

as Brandon Perna would say:

new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new, new worst game ever

[–] xbearsandporschesx@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Justin fields did the post game presser wearing vikings purple, wtf

[–] shupadupa@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

The Passtronaut went INTerstellar tonight

[–] StoopSign@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

That's kinda funny gag they pull.

I was referring more to his comments and his quizzical delivery of them though.

[–] codygraveson@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Felt like a Thursday Night game.

[–] Dr_Booyah@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

That was an amazing game…

[–] its_yahboya@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

[–] _Dream_Writer_@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

[–] ZiggyBOP155@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I mean its not like he is gonna be around next year anyways. Why should he care?

[–] Rainn__40@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Lol they said this game should’ve been flexed to 3:00 AM on a Wednesday lol

I regretted not watching last night's game but I don't regret missing this one.

[–] ZiggyBOP155@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

What was that?

[–] hippohopper78@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Our sub thinks that game showed growth from Fields. Getsy did him no favors, but lmao.

[–] ZiggyBOP155@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

12 points is a new high for him I guess?

[–] carlsonaj@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

[–] OakNLeaf@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

This was like watching the last seeded middle school football team play against the last seeded middle school football team from another school district holy fuck

[–] darthjoey91@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

That game made soccer look fast paced.

[–] Memester999@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Fields will be a decent backup, maybe even a starter on a team that can coach him up and give him tools to succeed. He has all the talent in the world but is just too inconsistent for anyone to take the risk in saying "He's our guy". There were throws in this game that are throws a franchise QB has to make if they can be considered one and he missed most of them.

He has been in a mostly horrible situation all his career and I'm still 50/50 on if this is a development issue over a skill/talent issue. But we can't go forward with him for a number of reasons and especially with this dogshit front office and coaching staff.

If you don't like that, you don't like ~~Big Ten West~~ NFC North football.

[–] mbrogan4@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

The fact that Bears fans all knew that Justin Fields was going to fumble those 2 drives is absolutely depressing and should tell you a lot about how terrible this team is.

[–] FlatterMoon@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

The ref announced the end of the game like he was telling his kid he was going to go grab a pack of cigarettes and be right back.

[–] givewarachance@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I was wondering when this Vikings train was going to crash.

[–] Orkleth@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I had to check the calendar to make sure it wasn't Thursday.
