WHAT YEAR IS THIS?

[–] HoosierProud@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

But for real. That one two game of Reggie and DJ actually has me believing they might finally have some scoring in their second unit when everyone is healthy. If the Nugs can figure out how to keep or even extend leads when Jokic is off the floor then it’s another chip for them.

Last night Mike Conley hit season high in points and assists over his former team, tonight DJ has this insane performance… if this cosmic energy keeps up, the human mind will not be able to comprehend what Harrison Barnes is about to do to the Warriors tomorrow night

[–] C3h6hw@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

I’m scared bc my Knicks play against Frank Ntilikina today

[–] okgusto@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

He might go for a season high today and score 1 point.

[–] MyJumpshotBroke@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

DeAndre Jordan was my favorite player during Lob City and made me a Clippers fan, so I'm very glad to see him do this and very miserable with the choices this team has made. I need Ty Lue fired by the morning.

[–] emperornel@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Looking like Joker/Shaq himself out there.

[–] throwawayforfph@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

DAJ had some YAMS

[–] Elite_Alice@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Letting DJ drop 21 on you is insane

[–] shazam482@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

You're right. The only that that comes close is losing by 44...

[–] RickySuela@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Honestly, with how good Philly is, with it being a road game for the Lakers, and with all the injuries the Lakers have, Philly should have won that game. Losing by 1 or 44 doesn't really matter, it's a loss either way. But the Clippers should not have lost this game. This is a much worse loss for the Clippers than the Lakers losing to Philly was.

[–] shazam482@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Lakers fans really excel at claiming moral victories. Whatever gets you through it I guess

[–] RickySuela@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I definitely didn't say it was a "moral victory". That was a curb stomping, but at least they lost to a team they probably should have lost to. In the end, it's just one loss, and hopefully they'll have all or most of their injured players back soon. I don't know what the Clippers are telling themselves after this though.

[–] BlunderDefect@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Wow that is insane. Can't imagine a team losing by 44....

[–] youblewwit@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Did the Nets sign DeAndre Jordan 4 years too early? What the hell just happened?

[–] discussionandrespect@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Start Jordan and play Jokic at the 4

[–] I_Train_In_Combat@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Man I didn't know DJ was still in the league, love to see he balled out!

[–] jaywalker_69@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Shut it down

This core is done, cooked

[–] OnePotPenny@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

vegan powered

[–] ile888@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

And sent Clippers to China...

[–] RickySuela@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Xi might consider that an act of war lol

[–] polymorph505@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

DJ just wrecked a team so bad they tried to hack him and it didn't work.

[–] TasSixer@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

I've seen Doc Rivers consistently put the corpse of Jordan on the floor and there's no fucking way this happened. I'm gonna need to watch the highlights to confirm.

Letting Deandre jordan do this to you in 2023 is disgusting, Zubac is so much worse than thought possible

[–] AdEcstatic5092@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

If wasn’t Zubac’s fault, horrendous perimeter defense from the Clippers guards forced him to come out to the perimeter giving DAJ an easy path to the basket a bunch of times.

[–] panman42@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Yeah somehow I doubt DAJ got 21 by isoing on Zubac

[–] Major_Wager75@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Reggie was lobbing to DJ all night it was great

[–] dt26@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

"Deandre Jordan in a win over his former team" is one of the most ambiguous things I've ever read.

[–] GillbergsAdvocate@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Last time he scored 20+ points was 2018

[–] sukari@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

The fact that the clippers tried to hack him.. 😅

[–] crackenbecks@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

That is NBA champion and locker room MVP DeAndre Jordan!

[–] KnickedUp@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Dont undersell his leadership. Some say he was as important as Murray last year

[–] Street-Common-4023@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

In 2023 you letting Jordan do that to you. My god

[–] VintageHeartbreak@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

People think he's not a gold Player anymore and that's so far from the truth give him a starting position he can produce

[–] raymondl942@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Letting Jordan score 21 on u. Time to fold the franchise

[–] JarenAnd@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Throwing dimes like Jokic now too 😂

[–] McBrungus@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Man, after watching his corpse-like play on the Sixers a couple years back, I have no idea how you let this happen and continue existing as a basketball team.

[–] PorousSurface@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

This is nuts, Deandre has been washed for YEARS

[–] SporTEmINd@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Former Clip Reggie Jackson also had the highest game score of his career with 36.7. 35 points on 15-19 from the field plus 13 assists against 2 turnovers.

[–] Hermey_the_misfit@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Reggie Jackson tied his career high in Field Goals made at 15. Last time he did that was in 2015. Big Gov was on fire

[–] _crackhousebob_@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

This looks so bad on the Clippers. Nuggets are missing their 2 best players, Clippers have 4 superstars playing, and DeAndre Jordan goes off like he is 25 again.

[–] djkhan23@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Hasn't he been washed for like 5 years now?

[–] BAlpha90@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

The Clippers realized noone would respect a win against such a shorthanded team so they stopped playing

[–] Frankalicious47@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

They heard rumblings

[–] dontusethisforwork@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

I just watched the YT highlight reel of the game. Beginning the 4Q the announcers "Win #8 is just 12 minutes away and the Clippers have a...."

oops, actually DJ and Big Gov came and said "nuh uh"

All NBA DJ returning for one game

[–] MikeJones-8004@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

There's just no way in the world DeAndre Jordan scored 21/13/5 in the year of our lord 2023. I legit thought this guy was out of the league!

[–] No_Tomatillo_8029@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Zubac is one of the worst Cs in the league.

[–] Brokromah@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Deandre isn't a system player. He's a system.
