This team has 4... FOUR HOFers on the court. And they keep losing. They just lost to a Nuggets team that is missing their top 3 players and are on a 2nd night of a B2B LOL

Not to mention, 2 MVPS.

[–] GaTech379@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

2012 Lakers, 2013 Nets, 2022 Lakers

[–] InstinctBlu3s@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

It’s not a Superteam if they’re past their prime and old. They all look like a shell of their former selves.

[–] tapk69@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

This team 5 years ago would be nuts but now their window is this season and the next.

[–] Xgxstxn@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Yeah if the window is in a jail cell with bars on it

[–] sky-xxy@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Bro it's closed

[–] kpeds45@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Yeah this is a 2018 superteam, not a 2023 superteam.

[–] JoeDante84@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Just because they are future HoF doesn’t mean that they are playing like it right now. It’s like a collection of awesome sports cars and each has over 200k miles.

[–] heybobson@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

The 2013-14 Brooklyn Nets have gotta be up there for worst super team.

[–] Brabochokemightwork@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

I don’t even wanna call it a super team because both KG/Pierce were on the decline from the previous season

[–] No_Progress_278@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

That’s true, peeps be quick to forget that Garnett and The Truth were never the same after Boston

[–] Brabochokemightwork@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I think the shortened season helped KG/Pierce/Allen greatly because in the previous playoffs they struggled against Miami

[–] wcooper97@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I remember so many comments about the Nets being up 4-0 on Miami in the regular season all to be 5-game’d lol

[–] Elite_Alice@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Kobe Dwight and pau

[–] ferarubetsap@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Bruh, it's only been one game. Give 'em a break. Plus, injuries happen all the time in this league. Let's see how they do when everyone is healthy before we start calling them the worst superteam ever.

[–] jesusfelixxx@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

It’s not been only one game. There weren’t any injuries. Wait there were injuries, the leagues best player and his two best players. They play for the nuggets.

[–] mxgicjohnson@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

all of those HOF are well past their prime. maybe not Kawhi cause you don’t know his real self until he plays in the playoffs.

it’s not a super team

[–] el_throw@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I mean in their defense, they are all kinda passed their prime. I still think they can turn it around. Still early enough in the season.

[–] NetGlass4387@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

tbh this is exactly what you get when multiple ageing “superstars” team up

[–] jfrodriguez1983@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

This is not 2018. Those 4 players together in 2023 does not make a superteam.

[–] indreams159@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

lol the Clippers aren't a superteam, they're a washed up boy band in their 50's who get together ever so often to make a bad commercial

[–] ejiggle@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Ask the 2012 Lakers lol

[–] labasdila@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

are you new to watching clippers?

clippers are cursed

[–] LabLeather8006@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

We are just at the end of November. Relax and wait for a full season. :)

[–] Xsy@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I wouldn't say it's the worst superteam, but I do think it's pretty amateur team building by the Clippers FO.

Like, it looks like a 2K team from a casual fan who just knows big name players, and thinks it'll be good, completely ignoring fit and team needs.

[–] WaterIsNotWet19@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

More like blooper team amirite

[–] HeyItsChase@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Kobe Nash and Howard get a shout.

[–] guitarhero22701@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

A super team with 1 top ten player…ya ok

[–] 77th_savant@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Nash, Howard lakers

[–] Surflover12@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Nuggets play better without joker

[–] Interesting-Test180@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Not a super team if most of them are washed up now

[–] bagpiper12345678@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

2004 Lakers.

[–] SundayNightPrimeTime@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

No, and it’s not even close. You probably know this but posted this anyways that Westbrook is washed.

[–] 1Tims@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

The roster makes no sense as a unit, it’s like they went on 2k and traded for all high overalls and not an actual basketball fit, so many of the players over lap with there skill sets. James harden is such a terrible defender

[–] juicewar01@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Feels bad for Russ. He's like the opposite of KD as far as winning goes.

Russel Lostbrook

[–] MasterTeacher123@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I don’t consider it a superteam if everyone is past their primes

[–] strillanitis@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

The Barkley, Drexler, Olajuwon Rockets.

Followed closely by the Pippen, Drexler, Olajuwon Rockets.

[–] pup_mercury@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Is PG HOF level

[–] RandomStranger79@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

The ol' STiNO.

[–] agr5179@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Four HOFers who are all well past their prime. In 2017 this would’ve been a super team. Not today though.

[–] Awaites_0131@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

It’s a team of has-beens, this would have been a super team 5 years ago but now…

[–] MyNamesNotCal@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

I was thinking maybe the Malone and Nash lakers, but they had Kobe and Shaq in their primes.

Reggie Jackson just destroyed the clippers

[–] madvec1@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

With Harden and Westbrook current shape, nobody believes this Is a super team in any capacity.

[–] thomass___@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Rose, Melo, Porzingis, and Noah

[–] howfuckedismytoe@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Since when was PG a future Hall of famer?

[–] Fr0_oz3n@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Reggie Jackson 35/5/13.

Yeesh.

Nowhere close to the KD/Harden/Irving Nets, right? Those guys played like 5 games together.
