First off, I believe in Chet. He’s going to be a perennial all-star and will likely win DPOY at some point

But I personally think Şengün will have the better career. He’s far more likely to age better than Chet and his style as a play making big is valuable to any team

They’re both 21 - so there’s still plenty of basketball to see. Thoughts?

Do you think people in this sub can tell the future?

[–] BrandinPodziemski@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

We don’t know. It’s been 1 month

[–] No_Engineering_4925@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

That’s the point of the post , to predict. Funnily enough the question only makes sense if we don’t know , if we knew , it would be ridiculous.

You had a Hawks flair a couple of mins ago. Why’d you change it?

No disrespect to sengun I was pissed when we traded him draft night, however seeing everything play out I think it was best for both. It let him be greater than he could’ve been in okc as a back up. But let’s remember this is his 3rd season compared to Chet’s 16 games in the nba. Yes he was with the team but dude was in a boot basically the whole season.

As a Rockets fan, I was hoping for a Chet + Sengun pairing. These 2 could definitely compliment each other.

would he have been a backup for you guys? i thought you had a really bad c rotation before this year. if you mean this year specifically, i get that, but even then i could see them being a better, better fitting version of the old sabonis/turner frontcourt

Who knows. Chets literally played like 15 nba games lmao.

I mean, it's hard to tell the future, but Chet definitely has a higher ceiling.

Who cares? Why is this sub so obsessed with defining legacies and ranking players? Hopefully they are both great.

Especially for player who have barely been in the league.

My ass is going to have a better career . Please ban this nonsense questions

I’m going with Chet, cause I think he might be more versatile and better suited to not being a first option, plus he was instantly good in the NBA, which is tough to do. But both should be excellent.

[–] Bonesawisready5@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Both gonna be great, my guess today is Chet

[–] FatherHaz@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Turkish Jokic

[–] TIandCAS@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Idk, but Chet has been the second best player on a top 2 team in his conference so I’d go with him

What’s the point of these questions? Are you going to come back 15-18 years later and read the comments to Pat yourself in the back?

[–] _s0lace_@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I hope they both have great careers & based off what I’ve seen so far, they will.
