Jeez. 3 posts ago is herbert needs to be held accountable for chargers failures and here it’s Josh Allen is playing at an mvp level but the bills are wasting it?

It’s not been an MVP level season but I get what you are saying.

It is an MVP level season lol. We are so desensitized to Josh Allen putting up MVP cam numbers lmao.

[–] dave_001@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

it has been a mvp season but you probably just havent watched enough football

[–] GamingTatertot@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (3 children)

If he had like 3-4 less turnovers and a couple more wins, he'd likely be frontrunner for MVP. He's on pace for 4,553 passing yards, 485 rushing yards, 34 passing TDs, and 13 rushing TDs.

So all in all, he could end up with 5,000 total yards and 47 total TDs - but he also has 13 INTs and is a league leader in INTs.

It's crazy to think he's currently leading in total TDs (and passing TDs), 2nd in total yards (he's behind Howell by 5 yards), but he's also leading in INTs which is killing his MVP chances

He is not playing at an MVP level.

[–] Amadeum@alien.top 2 points 1 year ago (25 children)

I don't watch enough Bills games to know, but wasn't the narrative that he was way too turnover prone a week ago?

[–] oldschool_potato@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

His INT are up and his fumbles are way down compared to the last couple of years.

[–] TetrisTech@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

That was the narrative yes (and randomly is again every few weeks) but not the reality

MVP season? Is the writer from buffalo lmao

[–] SFThirdStrike@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

They have a bunch of injuries on defense which has made them regress a bit. If they had the same defense they had in years past they'd be like 9-3 or

[–] AdminsAreCool@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I've watched quite a few Josh Allen games and I think he might be the best QB in the league when he's firing on all cylinders. The guy is unreal - he's so big, fast, strong, and accurate that he can do basically anything from anywhere on the field.

With that being said, he's not firing on all cylinders all the time and he's made a lot of mistakes. That's not to say he isn't playing well overall, but I don't think this is an MVP-level season.

[–] Deadeye_Donny@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (7 children)

Not really paid attention to him, but dude could not be stopped against us. Ran all over our top run defense.

[–] noble_29@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I get the sentiment, but to be fair, when looking at statistical rankings, rushing defense focuses primarily on actual rushing not QB scrambling. Josh Allen is obviously an outlier in the league with his mobility at the QB position and having a highly rated rushing defense doesn’t really apply to stopping a QB from running during designed pass plays.

[–] AleroRatking@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Stopped him in OT when it mattered to be fair

24 TDs to 16 turnovers (13 INT, 3 lost fumbles) and a .500 record with losses on the books to multiple bottom tier teams is an “MVP Caliber season”? Did Tony Romo write this article?

[–] EdgarAllanFlacco@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago
[–] dave_001@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

lowkey funny how this changes over the season. first its josh allen isnt a top 10 qb to the team is wasting him. honestly its truly funny.

[–] BaNoCo92@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Josh Allen is the issue

[–] SnacksGPT@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Josh Allen is who Tony Romo would’ve been viewed as if he played anywhere other than Dallas.

[–] imrickjamesbioch@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

What is the deal with folks and why is there so many 🍆 riders each year for Allen? He’s having a decent year but by no means is it close to being a “MVP-level” type season. He’s definitely not even a top 5 qb this year. Also, is there any other qb in the league that has so many people that make excuses for when he doesn’t win?

[–] ryudo6850@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

CJ Stroud deserves it more than Allen. Also, I agree 100% with your statement.

People need to stop with this nonsense and realize he isn't that far removed from being a Jameis type of player. Yes he can run, I get it. It just hasn't translated to him winning the big games yet.

[–] cvlf4700@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

What do the Bills have to do with Josh Allen’s MVP season? We only played one game against them this year 😏 /s

[–] siderealdaze@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Allen can sling the rock and can't seem to be tackled, but he has a knack for swinging the momentum with turnovers. What a strange team!

[–] manningthehelm@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Here comes the sympathy for getting beat by the eagles. It’s ever week. Eagles will lose, they don’t, pity party for the other team.

[–] Wh00ster@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Bills have had the weirdest fucking season

[–] curryandbeans@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

They are awarding MVPs for flopping and just generally being a big ol' crybaby now?

[–] AleroRatking@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Worked for James Harden. Allen is just following his lead.

[–] JayyMei@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (3 children)

His TD pass to Diggs the other day was insane

This isn’t an MVP caliber season

[–] AleroRatking@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (3 children)

Doesn't he have 8 straight games or something with a turnover?

I don't know if leading the league in interceptions should be considered MVP-level.

16 turnovers on the season. In what world is this an MVP caliber season?

Can we just be normal about Josh Allen for once. He’s having a good season and he’s turned over the ball more than he should. It’s okay, he’s not having an mvp season and we’re still lucky to have him. Everything is so hyperbolic in every direction the way people talk about him.

[–] dave_001@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

hes definitely having a mvp season. if you look at stats and see turnover worthy plays or how his turnovers are less worse than tua's. hes definitely having a mvp season. cmon now

[–] alzkzj@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Gotta remember these players have expiration dates brudda -

Theyre wasting his entire career at this point.

Should probably just burn it all down and trade Josh to NE and rebuild. Definitely the best option.

[–] A_Lion-Eating_Tuna@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (10 children)

Tyreek, Garrett, or CMC should be the MVP front runners.

[–] dave_001@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Bills fans doing this is so embarrasing lmao

Buffalo had a defense once. If they can keep playoff bound teams under 20 points they'll be in the big dance again. Too bad they cant.
