Hi everyone,

I recently released my app on Appstore which allows you to lock your favorite apps using biometrics and a passcode. While there are some workarounds using the built-in shortcuts app, they don't provide a good user experience since they either show a custom input alert asking for password or they direct you to lock screen.

With Oltalox, you can use the same secure Touch ID and Face ID to protect your app. This is handy to prevent any snooping from siblings while the device is still unlocked.

Here is the appstore link:

This is great,

but nothing stops me from going to settings and disabling the screen time permission and thus disabling your app, so it's not much safe. Anybody with PIN can go to this settings and disable.

Very clever. I have a few apps with built in biometric security but being able to do this for apps in general, brilliant.

Any plans for an android app?

I assume you cannot prevent someone going into the App Store, search the app and open it from there right?

It does not matter from where you open the app since it will always be locked
