All four future HOF clippers, Harden, Westbrook, Paul George and Kwahi, were outscored and outassisted last night by the legend DeAndre Jordan.

Is this Denver's culture / system / leaders (including Jokic) or is it Clippers' , or a bit of both?

Clippers want to win one. Denver's already done it. What mix is required? Two stars and depth?

An example: Four stars didn't work for Nets, but an asterisk is that Harden and Kyrie were injured at the time. Before he got injured, in the series against the Milwaukee Bucks, the four star Nets were manhandling the eventual champion Bucks...

Who was the “fourth” star for the Nets?

[–] Certified_panda_here@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

First off, No "culture" can make a person play better or worse, sometimes when they are given a chance good players show up and show out and that has what happened here. I'm tired of this "culture" narrative that people put on players who they didn't expect to perform as well taking away the recognition of the skill and putting emphasis on the organization who just swapped these guys in cuz there 3 starters are injured

Jokic is simply the product of a system confirmed

I'm here for DeAndre Jordan MVP season.

Nuggets fans got a taste of 2016 Reggie Jackson

Him carrying Clippers while George and Kawhi were injured was quite special

[–] famousbanana@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

What about 1977 Reggie Jackson?

Big Government gives bailouts when you least expect it sometimes

[–] thebreakfastbuffet@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Big Government is an all-time moniker. I love it.

Clippers fans got a taste of 2023 true prime Reggie Jackson. In all seriousness, one of his greatest games of his career

So you're saying we should relegate the clippers to the g league? Agreed.

[–] Afrobritish@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

semi g league team > geriatric team with a developmentally disabled coach

I really don't think I can do it anymore as a Clippers/Chargers/Dodgers fan. You don't just watch your team lose, you watch your team lose in the most embarrassing ways possible and you have almost nothing happy to look back on other than some good players.

[–] ajteitel@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Lance Lynn was signed by the Cards lol

[–] itsnotyellowfever@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

As a fellow Chargers and Dodgers fan (long story), I find it incredible that all of these teams find the one singular way to lose a game that effectively nullifies all the progress made and positive vibes about the team to that point

[–] fhujr@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Just become the Lakers fan, oh wait...

[–] NotMark360@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Ah yes the poor dodgers fans:(

[–] kylebertram@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Some fan bases are so entitled, “We haven’t won a World Series in 3 years our life is so hard!”

[–] Lol69HaHaHa@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

Can we all just talk about how MPJ has 3 assists

[–] RodneyPonk@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Michael "swing the rock' Porter Junior

[–] mares8@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

MPJ possession ends here had 3 assists ??? I guess if hes shooting 20% even he will stop shooting for a bit 😁

[–] Vegetable_Diet3547@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)
[–] Lol69HaHaHa@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Where do you think MPJ learned that from

[–] Lol69HaHaHa@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Yeah i was honestly deeply disturbed when i saw his assists.

Nakes sense why he didnt have doubke digit points.

Since September 9th, 2020, the Nuggets are 14-2 against the Clippers.

[–] panman42@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

Not that it matters, but isn't saying all 4 were outscored by DeAndre Jordan false? Kawhi had 31.

[–] hairynips007@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Nah he's talking about future HOF "Kwahi"

[–] mares8@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Ye its PG/Harden and Westbrook

[–] mycatiskindagay@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I am just waiting for a day for Kawhi to start screaming at the team like that recent Marcus Smart + Grizzlies videos lmao.

I can see him being frustrated on so many different occasions and the team got no plays lmao. There are so many occasions where Kawhi is directing teammates (especially James Harden) for defense but mofo won't move or even look sometimes lmao.

[–] ChicagobeatsLA@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Paul George needs to quit podcasting and start wining NBA games

[–] mares8@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Didn't he said hes back to bully rest of the league ?

[–] BodybuilderLivid@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Kawhi doesn’t seem the same to me he just forces a lot of shots it seems like he is decided he is going to shoot he doesn’t look to create.

PG still looks elite

Harden is missing easy shots and is being really passive kinda taking a backseat

The offense just looks off they take horrible shots

[–] UnsuspectingS1ut@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Here’s a secret: unless you have a ridiculous situation like a massive cap spike allowing a stacked team to sign Kevin Durant in free agency without making any trade, you’re not going to assemble a true team of 4 stars. Somebody is going to be washed and/or injury prone.

[–] Shenanigans80h@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

It’s crazy because the Clippers gave up Reggie for basically nothing last season, thinking he was washed. Him having a phenomenal game against them is just comical

[–] mares8@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

And took Bones as a guard instead..lol

[–] RickySuela@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

The Clippers also waived Eric Gordon this past summer and he's been playing pretty well in Phoenix.

[–] Monster_Dong@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

A comment so good it needed a post, lmfao

[–] ConfectionDue24412@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Why are we just shitting in Clippers still? They are struggling franchise. They know that.

[–] Amuzed_Observator@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Ty Lue is a late term abortion of a coach and should have been fired last year.

Outclassed on every level by Malone using his bench.

[–] mares8@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Reggie and DJ have more rings than 3 of Clippers HoF guys . And more rings than entire Clippers franchise

[–] mares8@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Haha golden tittle ahaha
