This is a basketball sub so lets keep the convo related to basketball only. who cares what happens outside the court

Miles Bridges in five games since his return has averaged

21.2 PPG

8.8 RPG

2.8 APG

51/38/82 splits

Hornets are 2-3 since his return with wins over Boston and Washington

He was looking like a future all star before his unfortunate situation and suspension but with how well he has played it looks like he still may get there one day

He’s a good basketball player

He’s not a good person

Both can be true

Fuck Mile Bridges

who cares what happens outside the court

Lol shut up dude. Damn near most people.

You can talk about his numbers sure, but what a lame ass way to try act like what he does off the court doesn’t matter to your topic.

He can burn in hell

This is a basketball sub so lets keep the convo related to basketball only.

I agree 100% with this mindset but unfortunately that is never going to be the case with r/nba. The majority of this sub cares way more about celebrity gossip/drama than they do about the sport itself. They'd rather hear about Lebron's instagram posts or Kyrie's third eye than learn anything about the game of basketball. Most NBA fans (especially on r/NBA) prioritize first and foremost their weird parasocial relationships with these tall millionaires.

“Who cares about what happened off the court”

Everyone with a mother, daughter, sister, girlfriend, wife, or conscience

[–] ThatInception@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

who cares what happens outside the court

Spoken like your average sports fan

Man's a piece of shit but he absolutely has changed the Hornets into a competitive team

[–] TetsuoNYouth@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

He's a terrible person. However he has the talent to be the best wing in the NBA. Watch him every night and there is nobody who can compete with him athletically. Anthony Edwards would have nightmares jumping with him. And he plays HARD and competes for everything. It's shocking to my eyes to see that from ANY Hornets player EVER. But that's Miles.

He's gonna play. Somewhere. So if that's the case and it's gonna be with us I would just like.....hope that he learns a lesson and grows the fuck up from this. I know. Probably a fat chance. Abusers don't change if they abuse and get away with it. He has to realize he's talented enough to be very famous for a very long time and he's already fumbled a pretty big bag. However, my biggest fear is that he has absolutely learned nothing from this if he goes and gets paid next year.

No clue what happens but if he is gonna be out there and we have to deal with this shit I certainly expect he plays like the best player on the floor every single night because otherwise if it's just going to be the Hornets fucking suck like always......I'd prefer to just let him go to the Lakers.

I wonder what kind of activism support and outreach the people in the comments give to abused women outside of low hanging fruit like “fuck Miles Bridges” comments. Everyone understands the situation, if OP wants to talk ball, I don’t see the problem

[–] Fun_Location4905@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I gave this a downvote just because he said “who cares what happens outside the court!” You gotta be stupid to ignore what he did. The things he did to someone inferior to him physically are absolutely appalling. But let’s forget about those things because he’s good at basketball.

[–] Gamesgtd@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Can I downvote a thread twice?

Garbage bait. OP is a garbage person

[–] Buffalo_Bread@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

He's undoubtedly good at playing a children's game

But he's absolutely a vile human being who deserves to be locked up.

I read this post as satire.
