He has the ball too much

I mean he has to start every game with four washed up guys so I imagine he’s drained.

Probably old age getting to him now.

Also dude's never been a great defender

It’s amazing how they’re working Steph harder than his 2021 campaign with an all-around healthier team.

If Curry wasn’t so good at scoring and had to pass the ball more this would be his normal turnover rate. He’s sloppy BUT that’s what helped make his game exciting lol

Close turnover turned into deep 3, bad dribble turned into a recover and cross over, sloppy pass which turns into great catch by teammate and pass back for the curry 3. I swear during the warriors vs spurs 2013 series? This was like every other play

Bum teammates can't make shots, explains the low assists. As for the turnovers, he's always been a bit loose with the ball but this should regress to the mean.

Steph ain't gonna decline for atleast the next 4 years so that part is out of the question, the reason for those turnovers is cause draymond has been out and he has to be the ball handler which you can't just switch in and out of, even though steph is a decent enough passer. Once dray comes back, and I think he has for the sac game, everything will be back to normal in a few games

I mean he's 35. It's nuts the decline hadn't already started a couple of years ago.

Cause his teammates are declining too

Sacramento through the double teams at him at the correct times

Nothing really. There title window with the current core is closed. It is a shame because Curry is still producing at an elite level, but it is clear Klay can't be the second guy anymore. I would offer Klay a fair deal but nothing over the top. Tell him nutcase Draymond made a financial sacrfiice and now it is your turn. If he balks move him.

I hate to be rude, but this is a silly, overblown post. Yeah, he's averaging 3.8 TOs this year, but that's not a signal of some major decline. Why?

Well, first, we're 20 games into the season, and the rotations are changing around quite a bit. He's playing with people he hasn't played with very often, especially Saric. Let's actually see what's what further into the season.

Second, he's actually averaged 3.8 TOs before. Was that the sign of something terrible? No, it was the 13-14 season, and he was named an all-star.

Third, we should consider how many turnovers he had in previous seasons. He averages 3.2 TOs per game for his career. 3.8 is more, but it's really not that much more.

Fourth, many high usage players have lots of turnovers. Durant is averaging 4 this year, and Giannis is averaging 4.1.

Also, far from being in decline, Curry is having one of the best offensive seasons of his career, averaging almost 30 per game shooting over 43% from 3 and over 94% from the line. All of these numbers are above his career averages.
