Has basketball become so soft that players can’t even bump into each other? Or how is it that when the offensive player purposefully bumps into someone it’s so easily a foul on the defender. Really seemed like the refs stole the show again tonight. Let them play ffs, no one wants to see constant stoppage of play, that is the most boring version of basketball.

Refs could literally call multiple fouls on every possession. Most offenses start with moving screens, multiple guys swipe down on drives and anything goes on rebounds until a zebra decides they have had enough.

I personally thought the 5 minute flop review was great

And Anthony Edward couldn't get a foul call to save his life.

So here's what really happened.

Warriors and Kings are both top 11 in Free throws attempted per game for the season, and Warriors also give up 3rd most free throws per game this season, while the Kings give up 9th most free throws.

What this was, was essentially two teams playing each other who can't stop fouling others, and can't stop getting fouled. If the Bucks and Sixers played each other and people complained about too many free throws then that'd be stupid lol. Those teams live at the line.

Still today had too many free throws, but when you put teams in bonus minutes into a quarter then obviously you're gonna give up more free throws too.

I have been watching basketball on TV since the MJ era. Since then basketball has gotten unwatchable. I used to sit in front of the TV with other family members and watch the game, now it's something that's running in the background while everyone does their thing. I don't know what it is. It could be our changing habits and shorter attention span in the era of tiktok and highlights culture or maybe how the game flows there's so many interruptions. I don't have stats to back up if the game flows any smoother but I feel it's a lot of stop and go stop and go. There was a period in yesterday's Kings/ warriors game when Moody and Sasha traded 3 pointers, that was genuinely exciting as there was no stops and it was shot after shot.

The league is rigged. The only people who asked for an in-season tournament were bookies.

I tend to agree, but no way the nba wanted DeAron Fox viewer draw and not Steph Curry viewers

Remember when they claimed both Fox and Curry were mic’d up and proceeded to only show Steph clips? It was 4 times.

This is what happens when you have a WWE star on the court.

I mean the warriors literally aren’t a competitive team anymore without bending the rules in the paint on drives and rebounds Looney could probably get fouled out in the first half of every game.
