HD600 for me

HD598 are the king and I also forget I wear them, or think some sounds come from outside because of how nicely they can reproduce spacial sounds.

My DT1990’s. First set of “real” headphones I’ve owned. I’ve had countless gamer headsets but I’m also a snob for how my music sounds. Went with these and a dedicated amp/dac. No more ear pain. It’s great

HD 650. Using the same pair going on 14 years, wear them every day. Forget I'm wearing them. Obviously I regularly replace the pads. The only adjustment I made was I slightly bent the metal headband to reduce clamp force because I have a big noggin.

Koss PortaPro, by a large margin.

There might be one exception but it's historical and I have no idea what my impression would be today. Back in 1988 I tried Bang & Olufsen Form 1. I put them on my head and instinctively looked at the ground behind me because I thought they fell off my head. Those were 150g headphones and I didn't feel them. But it was a long time ago and I'm not nearly as impressionable as I was then.

Denon AH-D600. Sooooo soft

XM5 for comfort, but sound sucks. When it comes to both Momentum 4.

I love my HD 560S, but I gotta give it to the Bose QC35. That thing can be worn for 10 hours straight, it's unbelievable how you simply forget you're wearing something on your head.

super light and the cushions are great

but nothing beats IEMs for comfort imo

I like the AKG suspension system, my 20 year old AKG 171 is probably my most comfortable. XM2 is close but a bit warm. I also have Beyerdynamics but I replaced the pads with lamb leather pads, the stock ones are much too hard imho.

Wireless: Bose QC 35. I almost didn't know they were on after 15 minutes. The most comfortable headphone I've ever worn.

Wired: Audeze LCD-2C. I know this defies conventional wisdom due to the heavy weight of Audeze cans, but the 2C's had more than adequate depth for my fairly large ears, and the suspension headband distributed the weight perfectly.

I really love my 58X Jubilee's. They are by far the most comfortable headphones I have.

Aeon Flow headphones are downright luxurious to wear.

Stock prob the Sony mdr1a imo.

With mods, it can be anything.

Current fav is a modded mdrz7.

Another good one is a pad swapped with a head strap t50rp mk3

Koss kph30i Ultra mod. Featherweight with giant Grado pads. Forget I'm wearing them. They keep my ears warm on walks.

My Denon AH-D5000’s are comfortable but fall of easily.

Beyer DT770’s don’t touch your ears at all but have a high clamping force and get sweaty

My old Sony XB950AP's were really comfortable. Kinda just floated on my head with a good seal.

Focal Clear. Like wearing a cloud.

Haven’t tried too many pairs of headphones but the Focal Clear MG fit me like they were made for my head.

Most headphones can fit comfortably, if you have the right earpads.

I had ATH-m50x cans that I absolutely hated from a comfort perspective; the stock pads are much too thin, which fatigues my ears. I changed out the stock pads and the improvement was significant.

Lol, the Sony XM3 that I own for me are the most UNcomfortable headphones I've ever owned. I can't wear them for longer than an hour, my the top of my head starts hurting and my ears start boiling very quickly. I have just ordered the QC Ultras, hopefully it will be better.

However, I guess I just have a sensitive skin or something, as my DT 900 ProX are also unfomfortable for me, the top of my head where the headband rests just starts hurting after an hour.

So far my most comfortable ones for me were the AudioTechnica M40x cans, which is weird as they don't gave any soft cushioning on the headband

Meze 99 classic

Sennheiser HD800/HD8XX/HD800s. Extremely light clamp force but strong enough to not fall out when shaking. And plenty of room for your ears practically to never touch the inside of the cup.

Yes if you're in cold weather. Else, it is very hot

Beyerdynamic DT990 Edition (much more premium feel and less clamping force than the Pro edition, also, apparently less expensive for whatever reason)

Haven’t tried much headphones, but the ATH-W1000 fits really well on my head.
