Lasted 4 plays on an Achilles that had the entire off-season to rest and preseason to prepare for the season. This makes total sense

[–] UnemploymentHelp615@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

His foot's gonna fly off like the kicker's in that Simpsons' episode

[–] Indigobreaker@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

This guys ego...

[–] Original_Series_717@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (6 children)

Why is everybody so butthurt lmao

[–] wizard_1905@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

This subreddit hates Rodgers almost as much as Watson, a serial rapist.

[–] MrIrvGotTea@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I kind Rodgers. I think his covid and medical advice is pure shit but he seems like a cool dude to have as a friend

[–] Jurph@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I don't mind that he huffs his own farts. I'm just upset that the national sports media are bottling them up and making me sniff them.

[–] CosmicPho3n1x@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (6 children)

Because he wasn’t extremely pro vaxx and this is reddit where if you aren’t 10x vaccinated you’re a fascist and the nfl mods will ban you for misinformation.

[–] TheSpectreWithin@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The mods need to black out the sub for 3 days in protest of Rodgers returning to practice

Anti-vaxxer relies on modern medicine to return early...

Gee I wonder why people dont like him.

[–] grizzlysony@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Maybe he has different opinions on different medical procedures/treatments? That doesn’t seem so hard to believe.

I was fully vaxxed in April of ‘21. I have gotten Covid 3 times since then and the sickest I’ve felt between all 3 was after my second vax. Since then I’ve been 10000% in support of anyone who chooses not to do so. I still think anyone who wants to be vaccinated absolutely should, but anyone who feels hesitant has every right in the world to not be vaccinated.

Writing this above^ because it seems on Reddit that you have to begin any comment that is against the accepted narrative with a similar preface showing your actual background or feelings

[–] LuckyColtsFan69@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Wow, nice anecdotal evidence! That sure is useful!

[–] grizzlysony@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

You're welcome, I guess. This vax sure has been the most safe and effective vaccine that I've had yet!

Lol I "did my part" and all that jazz. It's not sacrilegious for me to criticize it at this point. Don't be mad about it pls

[–] Mr_Walter_Sobchak@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

A guy making his own decisions about what he puts his body? Yeah he can choose what modern medicine treatments to pass on and which ones to use. He can be à la carte and still not be a hypocrite. I'll always have love for the goat

[–] SpareTireButFlat@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

1 Superbowl ring =|= GOAT; pick one

[–] TheStumpyOne@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

No when you start telling other people they're stupid for choosing what you choose not to then you become the hypocrite

[–] chugtron@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Nah, it couldn’t be the obnoxious attentionwhoring, nope.

Make sure you suck off your martyr extra good tonight, bud.

[–] Slamminsalmon1991@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Cowboys have sucked my entire life. Their owner is one of the biggest attention whores of all time.

[–] Chefalo@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

You sound triggered

[–] Slamminsalmon1991@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

You being down voted proves how right your take is. That's exactly why they're "angry" at him.

[–] CosmicPho3n1x@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

100% lmao.

Aaron is more healthy doing his weird stuff than the 500 pound quad boosted redditor.

[–] TXCapita@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

It’s spillover from all the COVID controversy. Considering he has “unconventional” views on health and that he’s making an unprecedented recovery, it’s bringing in all the polarization from before

[–] Cr33dBr4tton@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I think he’s a nutjob. But I’m just scared for the dude to get back behind that offensive line this season. Just asking to go back on IR.

[–] Jos3ph@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Because he lied about the extent of his injury. A nearly 40 year old man doesn’t heal that quickly.

[–] magicdrums@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

what’s his Shaman’s number?

[–] RakiRamirez@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

No way we'll see a QB get a season ending injury and a career ending injury within a single season in different weeks. Makes sense? No, but fuck it we ball

[–] Unverifiablethoughts@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Brett Favre did it

[–] rydog795@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I'm just so genuinely concerned like how is this even possible can't he just hurt himself worse

[–] Jurph@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Aaron Rodgers is an attention whore and ESPN and the NFL love the headlines he generates. He's not going to play QB again this year.

[–] jethro_bovine@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The Duke says it wasn't even really torn...

[–] about90frogs@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

This rocket announcer is annoying

[–] about90frogs@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

76 in a half against the #1 defense will do nicely

[–] wizard_1905@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

If Rodgers was fighting hard when we were 4-8, you bet he’s gonna come back and play for the jets if there’s even a slim possibility.

[–] AbstractLogic@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

No way he plays unless it’s the last game of the season for a playoff spot or actually being in the playoffs. Both of which are super doubtful.

[–] razzmatazz1429@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Winner Rodgers > Quitter Fauci

[–] Phunwithscissors@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

We need Faucci on mnf if Jets have a monday game left

[–] forgivemeisuck@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

r/nfl about to have the biggest meltdown when he plays

[–] Wenckebach2theFuture@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I love how everyone is acting like healing on the cellular level is somehow related to determination.

[–] NetworkVegetable7075@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

This is scary I’m scared for him ngl

[–] YZYSZN1107@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

NFL drug persnell really looking the other way huh lol

[–] Ok_Pineapple466@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He really is a newer version of Brett Farve

[–] ClasseBa@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Old time toughness, pain heals , chick's digs scars. Boys these days cry if they stub their toes. ( sarcasm- the answer is steroids).

[–] minusthetalent02@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Look at us giving Rodgers attention. We’re doing g exactly what he craves.

Let him come back. Jets season is done anyways

[–] mecheng93@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

This is great news...the Vikings can scout him before signing.

[–] Ok_Run_8184@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Reddit - Rogers is stupid for not trusting modern science and medical professionals.

Also Reddit - we know better than the medical professionals who have cleared him to work

[–] goobjooberson@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

When he retires he's gonna go on Rogan and detail the stem cell cocktail he's been injecting for the past few months.

[–] WhiteWhenWrong@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I hope he plays this season and doesn’t get hurt… I’m tired of air chair doctors thinking they know better than the real doctors and surgeons Rodgers is paying millions to

[–] JackFuckingReacher@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Why do y’all think a Hall Of Fame qb in a New York market “needs attention?” Honest question.
