Apologies for the bad photo, these were with my Toshiba walkman and there is greenish flaky stuff on the jack

Besides the rings i don't see any green stuff, so if you mean those, it's just their color, normally they're black, so they are probably discolored, but it's normal for them to not be metal, they're supposed to insulate

There was some oxidation i think on the base of it, the rings are green as well, I just didn't know if it was still ok to use
