What's going on with Ivey? I know he's still early in his 2nd year, but he looks like the exact same player as game 1 in his rookie year. I've seen zero improvement from this guy. Low shooting percentages, low assists, high turnovers, negative defender.

Even Jabari Smith Jr who started just as bad if not worse than Ivey has shown improvement in his game. Keegan Murray even when his shots aren't falling has turned into a plus defender usually guarding the opponents best player. Sharpe has shown improvements, same with Dyson Daniels. I've seen nothing from Ivey that's wow'ed me for a top draft pick

He's not allowed to play through mistakes under Monty, which is fucking dumb when you're a terrible team to begin with. That being said, he's been a bright spot when he gets minutes. Bad games are going to come with second year players, poor coaching, and bad development.

I’ve only watched him a little bit but he looked vastly improved to me. Looks a lot more decisive

Did you even bother to look up his stats?

Who Ivey? Royal Ivey? You can’t be talking about Jaden

He went from 6th percentile in at the rim finishing to 86th this year. Opponents are also shooting 37% when guarded by him. He also showed continual improvement every month especially throughout the 2nd half of his rookie year

Ivey has a 62.4% ts after a 52.8% ts last year lmao

Ridiculous improvement in finishing specifically which he was awful at last year

Pistons aren't good at development

Tbf. He has to play with Cade. He gets no floor spacing.

It blows my mind that they stay started the season starting Hayes over him
