Light sleeper living in a city apartment always getting stuck with neighbors who like to bump bass music. I'm also someone who prefers to fall asleep to TV, and have resorted to earbuds/headphones for this because a fan, white noise, and the TV was not erasing the "thump thump thump" neighbor noise.

I've tried at least 7 different earbuds (ANC as well as passive blockers) and found that Jabra Elite Pro 7s are the most effective at counteracting the bass thumping when I'm sleeping. I bought 2 sets in case of battery death overnight. They're not perfect, though, and sometimes rub a blister on my right ear, but I make do because they've been the best of the options I've found. I also have a cheap CozyPhones headband from Amazon that I can use on quieter nights if I turn my phone volume all the way up, and have a set of the Manta version on the way.

This leads me to custom IEMs as a possibility. Wavs is having a sale and their dual armature custom fit IEMs are intriguing me. I understand IEMs will generally be corded, but what does the "true wireless Bluetooth adapter" option look like? Would custom fit IEMs be equal or better at getting rid of outside bass noise than my Jabra ANC earbuds?
