NFL
A place for NFL news, game highlights and everything that excites you about American Football.
I don't think anyone has given anymore thought to this happening. The NFL could have just quietly said, hey don't let that happen again.
Yep - now it's negative PR and the NFL looks like a childish asshole.
This is the way.
They literally did- twice before this. I'm very pro-worker, but this dude had expectations clearly laid out, and he willfully violated them. That's stupid on his part.
I get that they're upset he didn't appear neutral enough, but a suspension for the rest of the season is pretty extreme, especially contrasted with how light they are on punishments for some of the shit players do.
If you want a guy to look neutral don’t assign him to be a camera guy for all home games for a high profile player that he’s really good friends with.
Like, what did they expect?
Well don't worry, he isn't assigned anymore games with said high profile player.
This feels extreme tbh.

u/nfl AMA when
Total dick move but it's not going to stop people from consuming.
Dude got a longer suspension than some players who have beat their wives or been accused of sexual assault. Wild.
Or the actual player involved that broke his toddler's arm
the hypocrisy is insane
Idk why when something like this comes up everyone is on the side of the person who did something they knew they couldn’t do. More specifically here, it’s not even his first time crossing the line. Y’all are wild lol.
eh I kinda get it. They want everyone working the games in a neutral capacity to appear neutral...that makes sense. And apparently they warned him multiple times.
I get that he broke the rules. And...
No fun league indeed.
No fun league. Holy fuck. This is so stupid
It's not like he broke his toddler's arm JFC
Why does anyone give a fuck about this?
hypocritical scumbag billionaires
I feel like if you get hired to make decisions like this for the nfl. Apart of the onboarding process is getting bonked in the head with a massive mallet cause you’ve gotta be dumb as dog shit to think this makes sense
Why can’t players celebrate?
I’m glad he got suspended.
Total bullshit, no fun league
Fun will only be allowed if it maximizes the NFL's profit
The No Fun League strikes again
How much does he make? Since he's buddies with Tyreek Hill, who is partially to blame here, I would hope that despite being a piece of shit, Hill would pay him whatever money he lost from the suspension. It's probably the equivalent of me giving someone $50.
Reinstate with back pay ⚖️
The "No Fun League", ladies and gents.
Of all the things the NFL thinks will lower our opinions of them this is quite literally the most ridiculous. Guys not an official and no one cares about people on the sideline or who they work for unless they are involved in the game. Now yall look like stupid hypocrites AGAIN. Whoever is in charge of these decisions needs to be suspended indefinitely because they continue to make the dumbest possible decisions.
Exactly what rule did he break?
the 'why' is the nfl can't have this become standard fare. they keep sidelines very tightly regulated and if the guy hopped in to help celebrate the TD it could become a problem. i know they call it the No Fun League but the reality is it's a slippery slope. just look at how defenses will run to an endzone to celebrate a fumble recovery. maybe it's not fun, but the nfl has to regulate who can be on the sideline and when and what interactions they can have with the players. maybe the next CBA will allow for specific team employees to do something like this so that everyone can have more fun? hopefully so.
/u/nfl this you?
What an absolute crock of shit.
NFL cementing their usual image as a shitshow circus.
What exactly is the issue here?
that is truly bullshit... i hope he sues.
such a shit case of absurd rule application.. almost like abuse of power.
No Fun League.
This one reminds me of how the IRS will decimate some poor schmoe while bazillionaires dodge taxes with impunity.
Hill should pay the guy's lost wages. Although expecting Hill to do the right thing is an exercise in futility
The NFL should pay the guys lost wages, which are probably only like 2k anyways with the way they treat their staff
Tyreek just confirmed with some writers he’s paying his salary
