If anyone is wondering. This is a form of political violence. The state literally paid to have this man assaulted for no other reason than to send a message. The message, Black people better get in line.
Abuse by law enforcement isn't a bug but a feature of the system.
He hit their fists with his face. Clearly he's the aggressor.
You should get used to the fact that this will now happen regularly–not just in Louisiana.
You should also get used to the fact that this will soon no longer only affect people with the "wrong skin color", as is custom in your country.
And you should also get used to the fact that you, dear US citizens, will not be hearing about any such inhumanities for much longer.
The sale of TikTok to a billionaire with ties to the government should be warning enough, as should the approval of an astronomical budget for the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, which is so high that it can only serve to build a secret police force whose purpose is to suppress any resistance. There are many more intense flashing warning signs.
But hey, that doesn't seem to be enough to motivate the hard-working US population to resist. Nooo! I mean, you can still post memes like "leopard ate their faces" and "people did not show up to the vote" or "Putin propaganda did all this" kinda stuff for now.
Don't worry, if you keep it up, you'll soon be experiencing the news firsthand and getting beaten to death in prison cells if you open your mouth. Only that your death won't make the news this time because there is actually noone left to report it.
So just carry on as usual and accept everything the Führer asks of you. Make up some excuses not to do anything about it. That's the American way, that's freedom and all that... what a patriotic country ... God bless the USA!
Wait until you read about the video of this guy being beat up by police in 1991, and a jury finding them innocent. I mean, the verdict did cause a city-wide, multi-day riot, so at least there was some pushback from the populace.
Memorial my ass. That was just a political rally.
