CTE and he only played high school football.....

I found no record of him playing in college, much less the NFL.

Maybe he did other activities such as amateur or backyard boxing, but my quick search didn't turn up any professional combat sports in his history.

High school football is enough to cause brain damage. It is full contact football.

What did I say to contradict that?

[–] Burninator05@lemmy.world 13 points 4 days ago (1 children)

I think they were reinforcing your statement.

No, they down voted my comment and replied because they think they were correcting some mistake I had made.

Either bad English comprehension, or it's not their native language.

I didn't know you could see who voted on your comments.

Pretty much everything is public on Lemmy.

The first time I read it, it sounded like you were saying "he played high school football. Not even college, let alone the NFL, so why he shoot up the NFL?" I reread it because it sounded off, then I realized you were saying he played what you'd expect to be the least dangerous

I'm down voting you for assuming the other person down voted you.

Not an assumption...votes are public on Lemmy.

Recommend listening to Last Podcast on the Left for the Aaron Hernandez episodes. 2nd ep, they focus on CTE and the NFL.
