Does dropshipping in any niche need to be "broken into" (alien.top)

It's very rare for someone to open a dropshipping store, run ads and just have it make profit automatically

Most people have to "break into" the niche. Either through influencer marketing, making their own content and promoting their stuff, affiliate marketing etc

Basically, the main tool to break in would be attention. Getting the attention of the masses via social media

Is there any other way to start a profitable drop shipping store from scratch? Or must the niche be broken into by gathering attention

Other than more lucky things like having the right connections
