While detailing the incident in court, per The Telegraph, prosecutors said Duncan visited a Popeyes location in Macon, where he had previously worked, to pick up his last paycheck.

According to prosecutors, after Duncan walked in, he grabbed a pot of grease and dipped it in the fryer, before he then tossed it at another employee, Kelvin Early.

Per The Telegraph, Early was left with second and third-degree burns.

Three years seems a bit light. That's a horrific thing to do to someone. Oil and grease burns are no joke, it will mess you up.

Well in a country where partaking in a coup attempt gets you a couple years, it seems spot on!

A Macon man pleaded guilty Monday in Bibb County Superior Court to throwing a pot of hot grease on a man in a Popeyes restaurant.

He plead guilty so he made a deal for a lower sentence.

Damn. He got 3 years. Good.

Instead of attacking a Popeye's employee, maybe he should have just attacked the U.S. Capitol instead. He would have only gotten a few months probation.

the grease would have congealed by then. especially in January, outside.
