lol if I were a betting man I'd put my money on this movie disappearing from theaters as quickly as it arrives but doing just well enough that Shudder steps in to produce the sequels. This has "announce a trilogy and hope we can get the last two made as Shudder originals" written all over it.

But hey, at least it seems like they've got enough sense to pretend 'The Strangers: Prey at Night' didn't happen.

I can see how plague rats would be a uniquely ideal demographic for scammers. They're incredibly stupid and very loud about it. They probably don't even have to try very hard to find these marks. So zero sympathy for them. I feel terrible for the medical professionals that are being impersonated to commit these crimes though. That can seriously impact their careers and reputations through no fault of their own. I can only imagine how awful that must be.

Muskrats are always the least informed people in the room when it concerns Elon Musk. It'd be a lot funnier if it weren't so damn easy to find the actual facts. There's really no excusing it, they're just willfully ignorant.
