PGMOL finding new ways to be controversial each week. This is completely absurd when they’re supposed to let play go on and pull it back later if advantages/benefits of doubt don’t work.

This is after an initial signal lol.

[–] NieThePiet@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

He shows play on and then whistled it after the perfect pass? Thats just scandalous

[–] The_Adict@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Horrific decision.

[–] scott-the-penguin@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Absolutely fucking hilarious but also shockingly incompetent

[–] ArcticNano@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Even city aren't immune to shit refereeing

[–] InaudibleShout@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

He played that advantage and then decided “nah nevermind” once Grealish was in like what the fuck?

[–] Harry9493@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

+4 points for spurs due to shitty ref decisions

[–] DoinWhale@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

That’s actually the worst I’ve ever seen. He literally watches Haaland get up and send the ball in THEN he blows the whistle

[–] Yikes-Yak@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

That's criminal on the face of it. There has to be some explanation, or else this should be his last game as a referee.

[–] FastenedCarrot@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

He puts his arm up as if to say play on the changes his mind with Grealish in a great position. Mind blowing incompetence.

[–] Banged_by_bumrah@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

For a club that pays the ref city sure do get howlers given against them (just never against chelsea)

[–] BillionaireTroll@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I don't know how players stay so calm. I would have lost my mind and choked the ref or something.

[–] webuiltthisschmidty@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

that is criminal

[–] no----112@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Even Anthony Taylor looked perplexed

[–] Bermano_music@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Not even a city fan and I screamed at my TV when he blew the whistle. Moronic officiating as per usual

[–] CurlyWantsToTango@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

The absolute madman

[–] Bizonistic@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

What a shitty call from a shitty ref

[–] FartasticVoyage@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Wtf Haaland gets up so quickly too. Ref could have hesitated for half a sec but decided no. What a fucking clown

[–] Malimalata@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I think he blew the foul initially then tried to play advantage, he just messed up

[–] ThePrussianGrippe@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

That was… weird

[–] Follow_The_Lore@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

That might be one of the worst onfield decisions in a while.

[–] TimathanDuncan@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

LMAO

Was he off or not, that's just so bad

[–] ks2427@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

This is some bullshit decision lol

[–] djneill@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

So fucking strange

[–] Mozzafella@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Ref's had a absolute mare there

[–] Stonewalled89@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

A great game and all people are going to talk about it the bad officiating... as per usual in the Premier League

[–] jahapahaoajao@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago
[–] mohankohan@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

What the fuck? He calls it on and then when he sees Grealish is in he calls it back?!?!

Actually the worst fucking call I've seen in a while. Shocking.

[–] AyanC@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Shocking decision.

[–] usamafaisal98@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Honestly, a fucking shocking decision by the refree There's a clear advantage to be played here

[–] BeerMeUpToo@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago
[–] No-Shoe5382@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

He played the advantage and then pulled back 💀

[–] CSB-CSGO@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

"City get the favourable decisions" crew gonna be real quiet on this one

[–] King_Butterbean@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I hate City but that’s some certifiable BS

[–] PelPride@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I’m not completely fluent with the rules but this feels like a straight robbery right?

[–] Any-Struggle-1834@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Premier League referees are a disgrace

[–] krkour@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

He gives the advantage and then takes it back.. very weird

[–] aleksandrovsqvist@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Ref had ML on a tie

[–] ramtbb@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Yeah he saw the pass and then blew the whistle. disgraceful

[–] simomii@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I think the ref thought Grealish was offside, but why rush it

[–] kasper12@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (2 children)

Haaland yelling Fuck Off at the ref was priceless.

I haven’t seen a referee call for something totally unique like this in such a big game for so long

[–] emize@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Story of our night can't take a trick.

[–] LilUziMan@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Bias aside that’s fucking ridiculous

[–] slatt382@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Lol that’s actually awful. I would be furious

[–] savylightning@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

I don’t understand because he initially waived play on and then as soon as he plays the ball he calls it???

[–] InaudibleShout@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

We’re gonna get one of those Liverpool letters from PGMOL and it ain’t gonna mean fuckin squat

[–] biggulp1516@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Guess the check bounced

[–] infachuation922@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago
