Somedays I get so consumed by getting rich that I work all day. I falsely assume that I'll only be able to enjoy life when I have more money

Then I see people around me who have less money than me, enjoying, and I think to myself, I need to seriously take a break

Nothing feels sweeter than having a good day with a friend or meeting your partner. Or even anything else really

What are ways to live life EVERYDAY but also chase your dreams?

It sounds like you have competing goals. Is it really "getting rich" that you want, which is arbitrary, or is it happiness, which is an emotion? You need to take a break, do a little retreat with yourself, and reprioritize so that everything starts with your "why," as Simon Sinek says. You shouldn't be getting rich for the sake of getting rich, that's not a real goal. Why are you really getting rich? Is it to afford yourself things that make you happy? Is it to provide for your family? If the only reason you're getting rich is just to get rich, for status or other external validation, you need to take a step back and think about what it is that YOU really want, not what you think other people want or what other people told you that you should want. Do you really want to just continue amassing bits of paper, metal, and electrons somewhere in the "cloud," is that really your "dream"? Or is your dream being surrounded by people who you care about and who care about you, doing things you all enjoy together?

Well, it's all about finding balance I guess. Just try to manage your time better? It's not rocket science, people do it every day. You just need to fit everything in your schedule in a way that doesn't stress you out too much. That's what most people do. It's not easy but, you know, life isn't easy. Just keep trying. You'll figure it out eventually.

Getting rich shouldn't be the goal but part of the process. If you only chase money all the time, you will have nothing left when you do get it.

Getting rich will not make you happy. Spend some time thinking about the things that truly make you happy and prioritize those things in your daily calendar. For me it’s walking to and from school with the kids, family dinners, bedtimes, watching movies, going on hikes, snowboarding, creating music, and time with my partner. I plan everything else around those activities.

I came across a study this week that surveyed people across various income levels, asking what salary increase they believed would ensure their happiness. Interestingly, the average responses were consistent across all salary ranges:

•	25-50k = 30-50% increase
•	50-100k = 30-50% increase
•	100k-250k = 30-50% increase
•	250k-500k = 30-50% increase

TLDR: It seems no matter how much people earn, they always feel the need for more to be happy.

This is possibly because we tend to buy things for the happiness we think they’ll bring, yet often we can’t fully enjoy these purchases because we’re too busy working to make use of them.

Have you though about having one afternoon a week dedicated to going on a date with your gf or meeting up with friends?

I'm pretty young, and I always think the same. If it was just about fun at work, I'd wanna become a fighter pilot, but on the other Hand I wanna make money too, so maybe it's a decision where you have to decide what suit you best, and then just do it, not thinking about wether it's right or not. I know so many people who have well paid jobs but who aren't happy because of that. Yet it isn't true either that money can't buy happiness (at least in my op)

Absolutely, finding that balance between work and personal happiness is key. It's like juggling two vital aspects of life - one shouldn't be sacrificed for the other. I've found that the key is to set clear goals but also to carve out deliberate time for relaxation and quality moments with loved ones.
For instance, with my app BeeDone, I've created a system where I can track my productivity goals while also setting aside time for those sweet moments of life that we all cherish. It's been a game-changer for staying focused on my ambitions without losing sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, true richness is a blend of achievement and contentment! 🌟📱
