Both are great players but Mike D Antoni system was all offensive it just enhanced their number. Top 15 playmakers both of em maybe even 10, if Steve nash didn't have 2 mvps he wouldn't been a top 75 player. Harden just not the 1 on a championship team and he just bounce whenever he feels like it. Defensively they got cooked Harden was better than Nash on that end tho he was bigger to be fair

Imagine slandering Steve Nash in 2023 and justifying it by saying his legacy wouldn’t be as impressive if he didn’t have MVPs.

Just a brilliant post all around.

No but see if Jordan hadn't won any MVPs, finals MVPs, rings or scoring titles then he would be a bum.

Born n raised in British Columbia Canada where Steve nash is from I must correct myself. Take away the 2 mvps which people can argue should've went to shaq or kobe but best record in thr league 1st mvp 18 n 10 2nd mvp so valid arguments why he won. 7 seconds or less offense kinda helped shift thr league to the style play now. Nash was the perfect general for that and I had to remind myself. Steve Kerr was in the front office for suns during that era so he enhanced it and just added defense with warriors. Even without rhe mvps he's top 75 I was wrong

take away his 2 MVPs he's still a 8x All-Star, 7x All-NBA, 5x Assist champ and almost averaged 50/40/90 for his career. he would still be in the NBA top 75.

Well see if you regress his stats to the mean he actually becomes quite average

If Steve Nash didn’t have 2 mvps? Yeah let’s remove every player’s greatest achievement.

[–] qpwoeor1235@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Look if i take away all of Lebrons championships, mvps, all Nba selections, and 95% of his points he actually seems like a massive bust

[–] ferxglez@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

If we adjust Mahomes' incredible statistics and revert them to regular ones turns out he becomes an average player, who woulda thunk

Who the hell overrates James Harden? Other than Rockets fans, everybody constantly shits on the guy. They call him a playoff choker, meme his defense, say he only had success because of flopping, FTs or the system, question his character and conditioning, etc. Not to mention, he's been snubbed for accolades he argualy deserved (All-NBA, All-Star) multiple times so even coaches and media don't seem to think that highly of him.

I'm not even trying to defend Harden or claiming the criticism is completely unwarranted. I'm just legit wondering where are this conversations where James Harden is overrated even happening, I sure as hell haven't seen them.

Mind blown, next.

Daily reminder that Kobe Bryant in his prime choked a 3-1 lead to little ass Nash

[–] perhizzle@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Nash was one of the best passers of all time. Many people also don't realize he was one of the best shooters of all time as well. He's not over rated. Stop it.
