Taliban still needs the arms to surpress the afghans. It's still a totalitarian fascist government. (1) They regularly have public floggings and executions in sports stadiums.

Recently, in september, they blocked internet access, because woman used it for education. Luckily western governments are creating the legislation for fully government controlled social media and platforms. Once that development is finished, FAANG will have a new product to sell to taliban and the likes. Business will be good!

Why do you think they dont need the arms? They still need to maintain control of their people by suppressing any forms of public expression.

They have a ton of their(Taliban goverment) main ethnic group within Pakistan and are attacking Pakistan across the border. Its like a greater Afghanistan project they have in mind.

But take this with a grain of salt because I dont follow Taliban politics closely. so all i know about their goals is from Caspian report which I believe is an Indian outlet and probably heavily bias against the Taliban and Pakistan.

Oh they still need the arms. It's jihad time. Their goals are not national.

Look at the stuff happening with Pakistan etc.

The don't understand governance, that's very clear.
