Business-Man, Business-Man, does whatever a business can

[–] massive_bereavement@fedia.io 24 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Can he come this saturday for close of FY? Of course he can, his marriage is dead. Watch out! Here comes Business-man.

[–] frog@feddit.uk 8 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Dead marriage is fitting for botj Business-man and Spider-man.

Marvel enjoys killing espouses as much as Disney's love for killing parents.

Spins a web, full of lies
The IRS, is his demise
Look out! Here comes the Business-man!

Private jet, drinking Bud!
He's going to party with young blood.
Is the prostitute alive or dead?
Take a look in the overhead.
Hey there, there goes the Business-man!

Panel 3 looks a bit like they're boning

[–] Eheran@lemmy.world 14 points 1 day ago

Why is he on his... table?

[–] Ephera@lemmy.ml 3 points 23 hours ago

Spidey does appear to be pregnant in panel 4, so...

[–] expatriado@lemmy.world 28 points 1 day ago (2 children)

the very easy applying/hiring process in this comic is the most unrealistic part

[–] Rozz@lemmy.sdf.org 9 points 1 day ago (1 children)

He does however have great responsibility and great power

[–] MadMadBunny@lemmy.ca 9 points 1 day ago

Nah he’s middle management. All responsibility, no real power

It’s realistic if you’re a celebrity and the company made the decision to hire you before the interview started.

[–] NecroticEuphoria@lemmy.ml 9 points 1 day ago

I thought he was more of a web developer...

I don't understand panel #3.

Spider-Man got his powers when he was bit by a radioactive spider, so the joke is that the business person is biting him to give him business powers

[–] rustyricotta@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 22 hours ago

It could be that it's actually Peter that just has an easily influenced genome. Nothing special about the spider or the business man. Better pray that mosquitos don't like him.

[–] Dragonborn3810@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago

It took me a bit too! The hiring manager is biting spider-man, so that he'll become a business-man

[–] supergrizzlybear@pawb.social 4 points 21 hours ago

does this imply the boss is radioactive?

Stupid sexy spiderman

[–] Honytawk@lemmy.zip 4 points 22 hours ago (1 children)

I would have pegged Spiderman as a webdeveloper instead.

[–] TropicalDingdong@lemmy.world 3 points 21 hours ago

I would have pegged Spiderman (...)

Enough said.

That took me a minute 😆

Accourant-man, Accourant-man! Does whatever an Accountant do!

[–] Someonelol@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 22 hours ago

The guy who bit Spiderman wasn't really fat but somehow he gained weight on the fourth panel? Must be a stressful job.

[–] slysmy@lemmy.world 1 points 21 hours ago

the knee brace 😂

[–] aggelalex@lemmy.world 0 points 22 hours ago

Spiderman is so irreplaceable for this Ventrue
