He was a very, very humble person

….proceeds to crash Ferrari while racing and showing off.

Lol, nsfw that link. Didn’t expect a porn ad up front.

[–] W3dd1e@lemmy.zip 4 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

At the reverse-Pornhub.

Instead of giving you time to make sure the sound is off, it plays the porn ad first.

[–] dubyakay@lemmy.ca 5 points 6 hours ago

I did not get an ad.

[–] Ok_imagination@lemmy.world 3 points 16 hours ago* (last edited 16 hours ago) (1 children)

**NSFW also the ad before was a porn ad Also at least he only killed himself it seems. Doesn't look like anyone else was involved, which is nice

The article says a passenger was ejected from the car and died at the hospital. The video seems to show people dragging the passenger away from the flames.

It's pretty nsfl honestly.

wrecklessly driving in his ferrari, also killing the other passanger.

[–] tigeruppercut@lemmy.zip 27 points 23 hours ago (2 children)

wrecklessly

It was actually the exact opposite. Could even call it wreckfully

[–] mrgoosmoos@lemmy.ca 1 points 5 hours ago

nah mate isn't this like a "near miss" situation ?

Well bless my cotton socks. I thought you were making a joke, luckily I googled it before posting, TIL.

Doesn't seem to be deprived of wrecks at all.

I have really hard time feeling anything about this. In the video it seems like he is driving over the speed limit coming out of the tunnel. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

I understand that losing somebody close to you hurts and i hope all the good for his family and people close to him and hopefully they get to mourn in peace without media tearing the case open, but personally i cant but think rich dude does stupid rich dude things and paid the price.

Sorry in before hand if i offended somebody.

Sorry in before hand if i offended somebody.

I‘m 100% with you, but if you say something like this you don’t really mean it and consequently shouldn’t say it.

[–] _Nico198X_@europe.pub 10 points 22 hours ago

no, seems like a pretty level-headed response. it's a tragedy of his own making.

[–] Mouselemming@sh.itjust.works 86 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

First, I'm sorry for all the people who will miss him, which includes a lot of lemmings. And I'm sorry for both him and his passenger, it's a painful way to go.

But Angeles Crest Highway is notorious for Ferraris and Lamborghinis speeding crazily while fans film them, zooming past people who are just trying to get safely up and down the mountain.

In real life, dead is dead.

At least they didn't hit another car. And the burning Ferrari didn't fall down into a ravine, potentially sparking a wildfire and/or putting rescuers at risk retrieving the bodies.

[–] SkunkWorkz@lemmy.world 19 points 1 day ago

Yeah he was definitely speeding inside the tunnel. There is a video of the crash and the road slightly turns to the left after the tunnel. And he couldn’t even make that turn. Crashed right into the barrier with the right side of the car.

Titanfall 2 was a masterpiece. The last PvP game I actually enjoyed.

[–] DoucheBagMcSwag@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 15 hours ago

Yep and Titanfall 3 is definitely never happening now

[–] NOT_RICK@lemmy.world 41 points 1 day ago

It was so damn good. One of those games where I paid for all the DLC just because I wanted more of it and I know how EA operates. Too bad Apex seemed to kill off that hope.

RIP Vince, you made an indelible mark on the industry and will forever be remembered.

[–] SalamenceFury@lemmy.world 29 points 1 day ago

Are you fucking serious?? I was just thinking about how he made BF6 super good (when it fucking works) when he got hired to work on it.

[–] AkatsukiLevi@lemmy.world 21 points 1 day ago

[–] big_slap@lemmy.world 19 points 1 day ago
