Oof. I can't imagine the self loathing it must take to try to pretend I'm something I'm not. And not only that, betray who I actually am. There was a guy in college who had a confederate flag in his window with the words "heritage, not hate" dudes last name was ramirez. He was clearly Mexican but claimed he was native American and it was like, dude, that would be even worse! The simple fact that you don't understand the implications... Just wow. I sometimes wonder what ever became of that guy, just out of curiosity.

Always a leopard moment to see the racist slurs thrown at colored folk who assume they can be white along the racist they align themselfs with.
