Where is Luigi when you apparently need him.

[–] DaddleDew@lemmy.world 33 points 1 week ago (1 children)

If a Canadian version of Luigi ever appears, regardless of his real name, we should rename him Waluigi

It would be neat if there was a site that doxxed ultra wealthy individuals so the one’s unhinged enough to kill could plan out a hit, unfortunately it wouldn’t be feasible due to individuals who aren’t in that category being exposed too and targeted.

You mean like this?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Canadians_by_net_worth

Finding their addresses wouldn't be that hard I bet.

Edit: I just found out the CEO of the company I work for has a net worth of over a couple of billions of dollars... And this year I got a sub 2% raise. Fuck him.

I mean, the Claims Adjuster didn't have to have the guy's home address.

[–] gustofwind@lemmy.world 9 points 1 week ago (1 children)

That’s because they spend 1984 hours each day working really hard

(248 * 8 is actually 1984 unless my calculator is memeing on me)

[–] VitoRobles@lemmy.today 2 points 1 week ago

No that sounds accurate as something a CEO would say.

Things driven by the same processes moving in the same direction as they do elsewhere those processes drive things. 🫠

Average worker wage is actually not a great metric for comparisons like this. It's better to use median wage because the ultra-rich skew the average higher. So basically the income inequality is likely much worse.

[–] expatriado@lemmy.world -2 points 1 week ago

that's bad if you compare with common sense, but not as bad if you compare with the usa
