With protonup-qt you can just install the version you want and it'll appear on that dropdown

Because 1 is less than 3 and their alphanumeric sort isn't robust enough to handle the number 10. I see it all the time, though I'm a bit surprised to be seeing it in a professional product.

My thought exactly. They're Valve, they should be able to sort it properly.
Maybe just add a releaseDate property to the proton version and sort it by it (without showing the release date to the user)
