Given that keeping him around was murdering both Tuvok and Neelix, killing Tuvix was technically -1 murders.

Why not just riker-clone tuvix then unmerge them then shoot tuvix out the air lock?

[–] Grail@multiverse.soulism.net 9 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Riker clones can only be made on that one planet with the reflective atmosphere

[–] Redacted@lemmy.zip 3 points 2 weeks ago

Alright we meet in the middle, shoot tuvix out the airlock towards that planet

Riker clone, unmerge them then shoot tuvix and nelix out the air lock? Its the only sensible thing to do.

Clone Tuvix, unmerge them from the clone, then kill Neelix. Also then kill the original Tuvix to be quite sure that Neelix cannot possibly survive.

~~The only problem with that scenario is that you are left with a Tuvix, as well as Neelix. Would you just airlock them tf out?~~ (sry, reading skills absent atm)

Yes, this would be an acceptable solution that would have been taught at the academy for generations to come! Bravely saving the life of both a prominent lieutenant (later rising to the level of captain) and the plant whilst stating a clear line against any such abominations.

Clone Tuvix twice. Split one, then Tuvix the other two with Tuvoc and Neelix, creating a Tuvox and a Neelic.

Voyager fixed forever.

Surely Janeway could have found a way to do the right thing and get two Tuvoks out of the deal. Could name the second one Twovok!

True.

Tho even if you would count it as 4 murders (Janeway killing Tuvix on the spot where she first saw him, no questions asked, no explanations given) it would be still well worth it.

(I'm counting the flower as the fourth & most innocent victim in all this.)

I love that Data is higher on the list than Tom.

[–] j4yc33@piefed.social 10 points 2 weeks ago

This is the kind of seriously gross and morally bankrupt content I come here for.

[–] RoidingOldMan@lemmy.world 7 points 2 weeks ago

Janeway and Tom Paris' lizard babies belongs at the top.

[–] autonomous@lemmy.ml 5 points 2 weeks ago

Anything with Neelix DNA is a war crime.

[–] SaharaMaleikuhm@feddit.org 5 points 2 weeks ago

I am so happy Data is on top of the list. I would not have accepted anything else.

Fuck tuvix. There, I said it

[–] Inucune@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

The episode ended with the same crew count.

[–] TomMasz@piefed.social 2 points 2 weeks ago

Especially Tuvix.

Will Riker without Sideburns. Also he's stuck in a Cardassian prison or something.

[–] Evil_Shrubbery@thelemmy.club 2 points 2 weeks ago

The many class action lawsuits of various chairs vs Thomas "Tom" Riker.
