Or, and hear me out, we could tax the billionaires.
I mean yes, but TSA isnt going unpaid because we dont have the money; they're going unpaid because Republicans refuse to let them get paid without ICE also getting paid, but dont have the votes for that.
The tax system could be fixed and we’d still be in this problem because it’s not actually about taxes, it’s about control.
Congress is so dysfunctional they can’t pass anything right now.
I have sn insane idea! I mean, this could REALLY work! How about we lock Elon Musk in prison for illegally accessing the private social security data of millions of American Citizens, seize all of his US properties, and deport him as an illegal immigrant for violating his Visa decades ago? Then we sell those properties and use all of that money to do something constructive...like abolish and replace the current Department of Homeland Security and it's various departments, like TSA and ICE, and replace them with departments led by ELECTED officials who serve a 2 year term before needing to be re-elected, thus ending several current BAD IDEAS all at once...and getting rid of Elon "Heindlich" Musk all in one brilliant fell swoop that forever improves the functioning of our nation. And if Elmo comes back, we arrest him and ship him to El Salvador as "prison labor".
Ignore him, he just wants attention.
He wants to purchase our army of assholes.
TSA does not need another de facto boss
Well then, do it. You might actually get a millimeter closer to paying your fair share.
