PvPvE is really just PvP, with the vE part as cannon fodder bait. Cooperation against the environment? Nah, just stalk the extraction points to murder and rob. Easier, faster, more rewards.

There's definitely substantial potential for PvPvE if you make the E portion challenging enough. I hosted a few battle royale events on a DayZ server with dangerous mutants, which were particularly concentrated around the final zone, and it was a lot of fun. I remember at one point seeing a calculated last minute betrayal leading to a firefight with another survivor who heard the shots nearby, which then led to both of them being attacked by a monster. The chaos of it all was a lot of fun.

Well that just killed most of my interest.The pvpve thievery was a unique selling point that would have gotten me into even a kinda mediocre game, now they'll need to make gold if they want my attention.
