I feel like the ink defense might have been a clue that the octopus wasn’t in the mood to be manhandled.
I'd like to say that I appreciate seeing posts with a video embed instead of a YouTube link or other closed platforms.
He levers it off a rock and still grabs at it while it's smokescreening and trying to escape. Hope he actually learned a lesson or next time it should finish the job.
Definitely a case of FAAFO
Fuck around and find octopus?
I guess that applies!
That is what seemed to happen in the video.
Entirely deserved
I hope the octopus is ok, what a stupid diver
That was a knife he grabbed...
Probably razor sharp.
Cameraman willing to let his friend die for the tictoc likes.

His friend is clearly a malicious dipshit, I'd let him die too
Totally deserved it. I was rooting for the octopus the whole time
No, don't help, keep it in focus
Good on the octopus.
Oh, diver. I thought i was going to see an octopus attempt a carjacking.
If an octopus is armed and stealing my car I’m letting him. Lil guy has somewhere to be.
They're one of the most armed species, unless you start counting stuff with little bitty arms like bugs.
Equally as possible, I think.
Cameraman does fuck all
Cameraman is cameraman. Deserves more camera. Diver is a dumb ass.
AI doesn't carry a dive-knife.
I’ve seen enough hentai to know where this is going.
*Diver nearly wins Darwin award entitled "octopus solves new problem".
