The enclosures were divided into two experimental groups: eight enclosures subjected to low-intensity white LED (CCT∼ 6000 K, Illuminance 10-15 lx, G334W, Eurolux, South Africa) at night (ALAN group), while the remaining eight served as controls

So a total of 16 enclosures? Sounds like a really small study. Unless they were cramming lots of people into those enclosures.
