Not Gen Z, but I do this. It's called having little disposable income.

Gen-z doesn’t have money, finds ways to stretch, news at 11.

As a millennial I don't get that. We were wrapped in comfort and money for so many years.

I read someone say something like "Gen Z is killing the Millennials are killing ..." industry.

Really? With price hikes that beat inflation and wages that don't are people not expecting this to happen?

[–] lath@piefed.social 8 points 23 hours ago

Of course not. They only see dumb cash cows spending thousands in pointless micro transactions and want in on the free cash.

Yesssss, Z peeps, draw attention away while millennials continue to ruin other things with our avocado toast and useless degrees.

generations, immigrants, foreigners, the poor, genders, worldviews – someone has to be to blame. it can't possibly be that simple, that all the money just ends up with the rich...

Gen Z probably first generation that didn't grow up with Cable. Hell most probably never watched tv over the air. So this is not shocking or news to us raising Gen Z kids.

In a world of free entertainment everywhere you look, free trials, and shared passwords? Hmmm. I can’t imagine why kids don’t love endless subscriptions and triple AAA. :0
