wow. I mean I love my cities transit system because its cheap and runs often but oh man it looks like you could eat of the floor at that station.

It's Deutsche Bahn? I guess OP is still waiting.
It’s some Metro station in Berlin. Are Deutsche Bahns known for frequent delays?
Yes, the Deutsche Bahn has been gutted and now the official projection of when things could improve again is 2070 (not kidding)
I guessed that, though I'll never miss an opportunity to roast them.
It is both parts enfuriating and embarrassing that the "heart of Europe" has one of the worst functioning railway infrastructure of Europe.
with just 55% of long-distance trains arriving less than six minutes late
https://www.dw.com/en/why-german-trains-are-rarely-on-time/a-75206414
Edit: Six minutes late means on time for them, not joking.
As an Indian, I would consider 6 mins very much on time lol. We have an avg delay of 30 mins minimum lol.
Just to add insult to injury for the cited statistic: they only count delayed trains. If a train has accumulated too much delay, they might stop it and make it turn around and it never completes its journey. This will count as a cancelled train instead of a delayed train and thus it is not counted as a part of that statistic... So the reality is even worse than you'd expect.
Just wanted to add that this is a metro station, which are run by BVG, not Deutsche Bahn, and which have much better service quality
And then people have this stereotype of German punctuality... 🙄
Berlin has some pretty historical U-Bahn stations (and trains).

For Hermannplatz I would argue that only one side of the U7 platform is beautifull. Kotbusser Tor, I wouldn't call beautifull at all.
But there defenetly are some pretty ones! My favourites are the 'new' U5 sations and a lot of the U8 north of Osloer Straße.
I wanted to add some imagery but I didn't want to imply it's about these particular stations. It was an overall impression.
What’s your setup here
Just an iphone. I cane out of the metro loved the lighting over there and saw this woman waiting. Looked like a scene from movie so I just captured it.
Berlin Alexanderplatz metro station?
I think it's the U2 line platform heading West but I could be wrong.
most likely i think.
My guess is Potsdamer Platz
Berlin Congress center is a dead giveaway. I think
