This would be cool if people could afford hardware normally, let alone the extra expenses to liquid cool a system.

Depends on what parts and case you're getting, distro plates and cases can be expensive so this might work out even
Makes sense, with hardware prices the way they are, a custom build is too much of a status symbol to hide under your desk.
I had hoped they'd make a gorgeous wall piece, but this looks terrible.
But how else can you collect dust this efficiently?
Add some Hummel figurines to it, for extra dust.
I think I saw something online a few years ago about a minimalist/case-free PC build, where the components were more or less stuck right to the wall.
I thought it was a cool idea.
Maybe cool for YouTubers as a backdrop.

I think parent poster more meant custom caseless builds, like these.
The wood/copper one is my favorite, but the Transformers one is pretty cool too
