I have high hopes for this guy. I think it'll be interesting to see how the right fairs with this match up. You have one guy who cheats, lies, and steals - PROVEN, and the only attacks they can come with for Talarico are "vegan, f*g, unmarried, and extremist." Nothing close to being true or even related to what the job is built on - just randomly conjured up words that the right easily latches onto because they understand them.
Will they fall in line or question their options?
He'd be a fool not to. Paxton has a criminally scandalous history. Its completely insane that he won the primary, and by a wide margin.
I'm torn on this because we already know that it has absolutely no affect with Trump. So maybe sticking to why he deserves the vote as opposed to why the other guy doesn't is the better track. Idk though, Trump is a bit of an anomaly.
Honestly can't begin to explain why anyone at all votes for Trump. All I can do is apply rational perspective to an irrational situation.

The Texas elections are some of if not THE most tampered with ones in the entire country.
There's been more registered Democrats than registered Republicans for decades, and still the fascists are 99.99% certain of retaining complete and utter control of every lever of government no matter how corrupt, incompetent/maliciously destructive, and personally repulsive their candidates.

He doesn't need to stay sunny any more. The primary had a lot of party members he would need to work with after getting elected. He doesn't need to worry about Paxton the same way.
